Runaway Beach Club is located within a few miles of Orlando's theme parks and less than 3 miles from both Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores and the Arabian Nights Dinner Theater.
There's plenty to do on the grounds of the resort as well. A clubhouse offers a 24-hour fitness room with cardio and strength-training equipment, as well as a 24-hour business center. The resort also has an indoor basketball half-court, a South Beach-style pool and poolside tiki bar, a family pool, and an 8,000-gallon spa tub. Poolside evening movies are offered three time per week, weather permitting.
Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the resort, including guest villas. The resort also offers a complimentary theme park shuttle, terrace, multilingual staff, safe-deposit box at the front desk, and laundry facilities. Smoking is permited in designated areas.

Runaway Beach Club's 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom villas feature fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers, refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, coffeemakers, cookware, and dishes. Other conveniences include full-sized washers and dryers, and complimentary wireless Internet access. Flat-screen TVs come with cable channels and DVD players. Living rooms have sofa beds.
Villa decor echoes South Beach and Key West, with ceiling fans, sunny pastels, and beach-themed artwork throughout. All villas are air-conditioned and nonsmoking.

Guests can play in two outdoor pools: a family pool with shallow waters, and a South Beach-style pool with white deck chairs, bright-blue cushions, and umbrellas. A full-size indoor basketball court and a 24-hour fitness center are also on site.
Golfers can visit Falcon's Fire Golf Club, just 2 miles from the resort. Known as one of Orlando's best public golf courses, Falcon's Fire offers a par-72, 18-hole course as well as practice greens, a chipping area, driving range, and clubhouse.

“Family friendly, convenient to Disney parks, beautiful place--highly recommend for your Disney trip!”
This hotel (which is actually a condo) is beautiful. It is clean, the people are friendly, there are 2 pools and a spa. One of the pools is zero entry with fun sprayers for the kids. The grounds are beautiful, too. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully stocked kitchen/great room. We saved $100s by eating easy to prepare meals at the hotel.
“Will always try and stay here”
More of a condo than a hotel but at a hotel price. Condition of rooms was like being close to your own home. It was great having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths for the 6 members of our family. Fully equipped kitchen was great for every meal also.
“Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, can't wait to go back”
Very spacious and comfortable. Very quiet in the villa & was able to get restful sleep. Convenient to grocery shopping, etc. Easy access to the Osceola Parkway. Close to Disney & other attractions. The pool & fitness area were great. My only 2 complaints are 1. Fitness area was not available for early morning exercise although staff was nearby, 2. Cable TV channels somewhat difficult to navigate. Otherwise - great stay.
“Great place to stay”
This was a great place to stay. Very clean and quiet which was much needed after being at Disney all day. Full size appliances in the kitchen also has washer and dryer. We will definitely stay at Runaway Beach again.

I marked hotel service a 4 since there was no maid service. However if you leave trash outside your door, it will get picked up promptly by grounds staff. If you really think about it I would rather not have maid service every day less chance of them disturbing you at the wrong time.
“Absolutely Gorgeous!!!!”
This resort/condo is more than what we expected. It has everything most people have in their homes.(pots,casserole dishes,cups,glasses,silverware,coffeemaker,and plates.The bed was very comfortable, as well as the sleeper.We had a 1 bdrm with a queen bed, that could easily sleep 6 people. Each sleeper sleeps 2 people. Wear Tennis at all times if you plan on going to the different parks. You can get your parkhopper tickets across the street at Country Inn,as well as catch the shuttle there. Get your scheduled from there as well.The shuttle leaves early so be on time. Walmart is 10-15 min if walking. The night security guard is extremely helpful (white male).If you plan on going to downtown disney or seaworld I strongly suggest renting a car. You can catch the shuttle to the parks if you want to save money on parking but remember the shuttle only drops you off at Epcot and then you catch the other buses to other parks.(Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot,and Hollywood Studios.)In my opinion Epcot and Hollywood Studios could have waited. I would have replaced it for Seaworld and another park. This resort was extremely quiet. Other reviews would scare you and I don't doubt what happened but I took a chance and my family was very satisfied and would surly return. One last thing if your deal says no housekepping they mean just that. They will not come to your room for extra towels.( better wash)
“Great Place For Rest”
Clean, Relaxing, Quiet, Spacious, Great Location, Quality...all of these words only begin to describe a great place to stay in Orlando. Only down side is that there is no free breakfast, but there is a full kitchen as well as washer and dryer. Take of advantage of this now before it becomes a fully dedicated time-share.
“One of the nicest places yet!”
Loved the excellent accomodations at this resort. Having your own home away from home. Very confortable and private. Walmart right around the corner is super convenient! Would suggest another mirror, maybe in the bedroom. Wonderful place you won't be sorry.
“Great!!!!!!”
We loved this place!! Everything about it was great! It was close to everything that we needed including an ice cream shop. It had a great kitchen ready for cooking. The bed was comfy. The room was spacious. The only bad thing was the tub drain. It was very slow so showers turned into baths! But that is peanuts compared to the room! We would stay there anytime!
