Noisy, Noisy

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Location: Great location to Universal Studios Atractions
If you get a Pool side room, you'll be hearing a lot of noise until 12 or 1 am. If you get a parking lot side room. you'll be hearing all the guests arriving late speaking loudly even if it's 1 or 2 am. This is an old furniture hotel with noisy A/C.

Hotel was ok, service wasn't great.

Posted 26-Jul-2015
The hotel was ok, the employees were friendly. But we checked out on a Friday and I left a pillow. Went back on a Sunday and it was no where to be found. They didn't try to recover it. I was unimpressed for what I had spent on the room and what I actually got. Shower was old and not worth what I paid.

This hotel seemed very nice but our room was terrible When we first got there there was industrial size fan in the room because the floor was soaking wet The water in the shower would not turn off The hot water Spicket just turned and turned he could not control the hot water There was no shampoo or conditioner we had to ask for it We needed towels we had asked for those which we never got One of the worst experiences I've ever had

Very close to all attractions

Overall the stay was nice. Pool area is really nice. Except for all the smokers. Alligator exhibit is pretty cool. Room seemed a little old and outdated but it was nice staying close to everything.

Horrible.... more like a prison cell

Posted 23-Jul-2015
This hotel Is advertised as a resort which is an absolute joke. When I arrived to check in At 9:30 p.m. there was a line of 7 people in front of me and only 1 person checking in, after 20 minutes I finally got my two room keys of which one did not work, then get sent to a building across the parking lot, go into my room and there is no blanket on the bed.... only a sheet. So I call the front desk to receive a blanket and after half an hour of no one coming with one I call back, the lady repeats that she'll send a blanket up. After 10 more minutes if waiting I call the manager. She says "did you check the closet?" As if it's my responsibility to FIND the blanket bc it being ON THE BED is so unheard of. The walls were off white with no pictures/ photographs at all so the blank decor reminded me of a cell. White sheet on the bed, blank white walls, it was very barren and cold. Totally uninviting. The bed was sunk in in the middle, the bathrooms were also totally white, cold, CRAMPED, and blank. Once out of the room we went to the pool which was very nice, unfortunately there were very few lounge chairs for such a huge pool, so we couldn't stay bc we had no place to sit/lay at the pool..... the few they had were already taken. When I asked the manager if there was more seating available she said "at this time no" so we paid a $12 a day resort fee on top of the room rate for a "resort" that we couldn't use. The front desk/management is very unaccomadating and the place is terrible

It was ok

Pros: The lobby and the pool area
Cons: Clean the carpets and paint the interior
Location: Lots of great places to eat, Disney land and tons of great attractions for the entire family.
The lobby was very nice and somewhat deceiving as to the rest of the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the pool was nice but the carpets were dirty and the interior was out dated. Most likely why the place was running a special.

Bad Experience

Posted 20-Jul-2015
Stayed on this Hotel building "C" for only 1 night, to start with the door on the room did not feel safe, once entered the room it smell like cigarettes and urine, called front desk and they told me will send someone to "spray" they never show up, the room was filthy, carpet very dirty and with wet spots all over, room seems to be outdated, bathroom was dirty, mirror peeling on the back side, bed very dare and we could feel the springs,, I will never ever we go to this hotel again, not even for free, I wish I would take pictures,

Pros: close to the parks
Cons: property and rooms need to be updated. along with the parking lot that need to be repaved
Location: Location was convenient but on busy road. So the traffic made the convenience not worth it.
Our stay was full of issues. Starting with being put into a used unclean room that the door was left open upon arrival, then being moved to a new room that the door opener did not work. After making 3 long walks across the property to keep recharging the key they called in an engineer to fix the issue. The staff was very prompt and helpful and fixed all these issues. But that didn't make up for all the loud guest in the courtyard of the rooms late at night and the room not living up to the pictures that were on the site.
