Great place for the money

Posted 25-Nov-2014
Pros: Restaurant and pool.
Cons: Update rooms. Curtains in room wouldn't close all the way and we were on first floor.
Location: Across from Wet and Wild
The pool and lobby were very nice. The rooms were a bit outdated. Bathroom especially.

Needs remodeling

Posted 25-Nov-2014
This hotel has no perks and only one working elevator for a 14 floors. If you plan on spending time at hotel in for the amenities forget it...good place to sleep only.

You Get What You Pay For

Posted 22-Nov-2014
Pros: Location to Universal
Cons: Fix elevators, update rooms.
Location: On I-drive. Also near I-4, so it's noisy.
At ~90 dollars per night on I drive, I shouldn't had certain expectations...such as working elevators, comforters on the beds, a decent television, etc. The room met our limited needs (a place close to Universal to crash after a concert), but I sure wouldn't have stayed more than 10 hours in this place. The air conditioner unit sounded like it was falling apart, the furniture was worn, and the toilet leaked. If you're going to spend any time in Orlando, look elsewhere to stay or lower your expectations.

OK hotel.

Posted 19-Nov-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The elevators really need to be corrected. I stayed here a month before my last visit and they were still being worked on.
Location: Good location.
OK, the hotel is old and is in need for upgrades. We really became tired of having to take the stairs to and from our room due to only one elevator for the whole hotel.

The hotel was great we will definitely come back. Everyone was very helpful and it was clean. The location is great because there are lots of things in walking distance and it's only 10 minutes from Disney world!

Orlando Birthday Vacation

Posted 14-Nov-2014
Pros: The size of the rooms in the Tower. Nice location
Cons: Replace the aging carpet and fix the elevators
Location: The location was great. One mile from Universal. Drug stores, eating places, and putt putt golf galore.
The check in staff was great. When we checked out they acted like they did not care. We stayed in the Tower. There were 3 elevators of which one worked until our last day, then that one quit working. It is not fun trying to get your suitcases and etc down the stairs. The rooms were huge! We stayed 5 days. We had to call the first 3 days about getting soap for the room. You use it once, no more soap. They finally got tired of us calling and gave us a baggie full of soap.
