“Ok for the price”

On the whole, I found the hotel to be ok, it was after all a lower star hotel. I was originally worried after reading some mixed reviews, but found my room to be cleaned pretty well daily. The housekeeping staff were great. Hotel well situated - didn't use pool area, but it looked ok. Breakfast was fine. I wasn't happy with the front desk staff though & also they advertised the rooms as having microwaves & fridges, only to find the rooms had neither. For a short stay & if you are looking to save money, then this would be a good place to stay.

“Old hotel, but good location to Universal”

Hotel definately needs renovation and updating, but it is definately in a good location for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

“family hotel”

older building, convenience located, 7/11, Mcdonald, gift shop, restaurants, liquid store near by, easy to find from highway. free breakfast, internet, shuttle to all parks. right on bus route to Seaworld. reasonable price and can purchase theme park tickets from hotel. good for family.

“Dissapointing for a Howard Johnson Hotel”

The staff were decent....but I wouldn't want to spend any amount of time here (we only stayed one night#. We had to go back to the front desk three times to get into our room...our keys would not work!!! The room#s) are in major need of upkeep. Two of the lights in our room did not work. There were stains on the carpet and foundation cracks in the wall. The bathroom counter was cracked and stained. The drawers were missing handles. I was very surprised this hotel had Howard Johnson's name behind it. Definitely disappointed. If you just need a place to sleep, it would suffice, but don't have high expectations for your surroundings.

“Bed bug city”

This hotel has bed bugs and the hotel staff do not seem to bothered about sorting out the problem. They even have terminology calling them BBs when talking about them. Do not even bother with the advertised continental breakfast as you have a choice of bagels or bagels and very weak coffee. I am glad we were only there one night.
