“pleasantly surprised - will go back again if going to Orlando”

We found the Kissimmee Inns by Howard Johnson on Lake Cecile just fine. I would certainly go back again. I loved the view from our balcony looking out over the pool and the lake. It was very serene and peacful. Good location - close to everything or a short cab ride away. Friendly, free shuttle to the theme parks, continental breakfast, clean, nice pool, good view. What more can I say. The only think we missed was a small fridge but we bought a styrofoam cooler and filled it with ice so no big deal. It's not a spa but that isn't what were were looking for. I guess the high flyers should choose elsewhere.

“Cheap one star hotel but didnt seem like it”

I found out later that I had booked a one star hotel. I never do such things, but it happend. I had paid for the hotel already, and I had booked it over night. The hotel outside was not bad, the service was nice, and the rooms were extremely clean. I was very impressed with their bathrooms. Brand new! The only thing that bothered me was that one of the beds was kind of broken, but my sister did not mind, and had no back pains in the morning. The pool was very nice. I recommend this hotel.

Great stay,this hotel is clean and fresh,newly painted.Hotel is nice,my room was clean maid service everyday.Pool warm clean water ,has a kiddy pool and a hot tub. The hotel is close to everything ,target and walmart are close. Great price for a nice place,plan on staying again next year.. Pool is located in the back of the hotel with the lake .Has a nice picnic area with grills and lights for the late nights.

“About what I was expecting”

This hotel was conveniently located on Rt. 192. I was looking for a place within an easy drive to Disney, and it's not too far (about 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions). I did not use the "free" shuttle, rather, had a rental car. Staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms about average. Didn't use the pool or spas, but they looked comfortable. I could only find one (1) ice machine, so that might be a problem in warmer months. The complimentary breakfast was OK (coffee and juices, cereal and sweet rolls, toast and English muffins, but no fruit or "cooked" food such as eggs). I was disappointed the room did not have a refrigerator (although it was not listed as an amenity, but I was hoping nonetheless). All things considered, the room meet my expectations.

Really a nice little hotel. Nothing fancy but for the price we had no complaints at all. Pool area was very nice. Staff very helpful. Location to Disney very convenient. I would certainly go back.
