“Excellent value”
This hotel is a great value. We wanted something clean, comfortable and very close to Universal Studios--this is it. Breakfast was included and had variety and great coffee. You can get better breakfasts elsewhere but not for free. In the evenings they offered warm cookies, coffee, hot chocolate and tea. The shuttle to the parks saved us money, too. Employees were friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent Staff, very accommodating! Our plans changed slightly the day of check out and they we gracious enough to let us check out at 1m instead of 11am with no charge.

“Just what we wanted”
We were not spending much time in the hotel so we looked for something comfortable, not expensive, which offered free breakfast and was close to Universal. We were very happy with our choice. Not new, but pretty new-looking, kept up nice, clean, close to the parks, with shuttle service to many of them, and close to different restaurants. Pleasantly surprised with the breakfast buffet: not just bagels and donuts, but eggs, waffles, oatmeal, etc. Definitely recommend it, specially since you spend most of the day at the park anyway.
“Very impressed”
I avoided some of the other local hotels because of poor reviews, so I paid a little extra and got an excellent deal which included breakfast! I could not fault the hotel or the extremely helpful and efficient staff. I would recommend the hotel without any reservations, it was clean, well equipped and close to Universal studios with a timely shuttle service.
“Great Hotel”
We stayed at the Hampton Inn for 8 days in November. Everyone was so accommodating. The room was very nice and the breakfast was great. They had a shuttle to all of the theme parks which was fantastic. Many other hotels only have to Universal or Disney. We were extremely satisfied with this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Orlando area.

“Great Comfortable Location!”
I stayed at this hotel with my BF from Sept. 1-6 2009. When we first arrived I was a little apprehensive about the condition of the hotel just by looking at it from the outside. But as we entered the lobby was clean, & the staff was very friendly. Check-in was fast, all we needed was to provide ID. Our 1st room was on the 3rd floor. However, we ended up getting a room for handicaps. There was no tub, no barriers for the water; the shower was just the floor, a curtain, a shower head & a drain on the floor. Water still went everywhere. I wasn't sure if I misread the info about the room, but the Itinerary, said it was just a King bed & Non-Smoking room. We let them know on the 1st day about the bathroom and if we could switch rooms. They only had rooms with 2 Queen Beds. We ended up switching rooms on the 2nd day because the carpet outside the bathroom got soaked and started to smell. Our 2nd was on the 5th floor, with 2 queen beds and regular bathroom at no extra cost. The breakfast was good and filling, & we saved some money with it. You could even take some fruits or whatever, up to your room for later on. The hotel has a free shuttle to Universal Studios and back, as well as to other attractions. There are restaurants, a supermarket and pharmacy nearby, as well as the IRide Trolley which is a great way to get around. Overall, it was a good stay. I would totally recommend this hotel, especially those who want to go to Universal Studios and have an average to low budget.
