It was a very nice property. It was a very nice day we had. However they overcharge for everything on their property. When you buy a six dollar drink at happy hour they will also charge you two dollars extra whether you’re using a card or paying with cash plus the tax, you have to have a credit card to use any other areas in their facility only the tiki bar takes cash. There was a complete language barrier. The property is owned by Spanish people which is not a problem, but they do not understand us, and we could not understand them, which made it very complicated. There was police officers there for disruption of children between two other guests that were staying there a lot of the children were very rough there and we’re not Supervised by parents. I tend to always keep my children with an eyes view so we were able to watch them with no problem but as far as sending your child off to play and expect them to be safe, I would do it.

This resort was very old and dated. We could never find the ice maker and several other guess could not as well. It looked like a motel and I wouldn’t recommend it or stay there again!

Our room had a smell to it, and it felt more like a motel. The staff in general was very nice. The water park looks worn but my kids really enjoyed it. The water park is suppose to open at 10am but the slides wouldn’t open till hours later till they had life guards on duty. The Tiki bar charged me 19$ for a vodka and cranberry. I was shocked at the prices for alcohol. I’m not sure if I will book again or not.

Water park was nice for little ones but we got a room with a hot tub and it was dirty. Turned hot tub on and all types of stuff starting spitting out of the jets. Other then that it was ok

We choosed the Flamingo because of the waterpark. The place was average, they have a convenience store on site and a couple of restaurants but food was over-priced. Our room was outdated, especially the carpet. If you walked bearfooted your feet will be black from the dirtiness of the carpet. That needs to go. The disappointing part was the extra fee they charge at check in for the use of the waterpark. $30 more per person plus tax. I thought, I had paid our stay in FULL when i booked through Expidia. If they are advertising thier waterpark as a main feature it should be included with the cost of the stay and not charge extra.

Water was not hot. Ever. Ceiling fan-dripping from room above. Making puddle on floor. Shower leaked down wall and onto floor-bathroom floor soaking after every shower. Asked several times in one day for room to be cleaned-needed coffee and towels. Did not get done. Language was an issue. Front desk NEVER answered the phone. Went to a generic VM box where not even sure who even calling. The phone in room did not work. AC in room was not cold. Gap between door and floor-bugs could just crawl right in. Restaurant-noone was there when we went so we left, noone seemed to know the hours of it When they did clean the room-it was clean. Kids enjoyed water park. For what we paid was ok. But would not stay again. It has potential....could use some serious updating. Front desk area and restaurant area looked nice-just need to get the rooms updated and all things working right in them.

My room was very dirty, the sheets looked like they havent been washed in 3 days with all the stains, the floor had dirt stains all over , the shower and jetted tub looked like they were never cleaned at all! the stay was just very disappointing!

The water Park area was nice clean. More attention was given to the pool than to the rooms. Room floor were dirty , put a clean pair of socks and 2 minute later they were black dirty. bed bugs( my wife was stung at multiple places) . the water tap in the bathtub was constantly dripping. took over 5 minutes to get hot water. The smell of moisture was very strong. The humidity and dampness level in the room was incredible.. you woke up and the top of the comforter was wet. The staff was nice, the custodian were very helpful, the security was polite, the front desk were nice and cordial. The ownership must invest in the infrastructure of the rooms starting with the replacement of the old AC in the rooms, need to revamp all the washroom. And actually use some soap and disinfectant when washing the floor . Also need to get the mattresses vapored to kill bedbugs I recommend to spend the day at the Water Park , but i will never book a room there again.

Room smell bad, don’t go by the pics on the website/expedia. Roaches in the bathroom. Employees were really nice . Hotel not at all . I didn’t leave the same day because we had car issues .

I only stayed 1 of 4 nights because I had to, I arrived almost at midnight. I booked another hotel as soon as I got in the room, and checked out the next morning, We found another much nicer resort, with a water park for almost the same price. , I gave them 2 stars instead of 1, because they immediately offered to refund the resort fee, they know their hotel is terrible and they didn’t fight me on it.

Our kids LOVED the waterpark of it. Pools were great. The restaurant was closed for renovations. The tiki bar was closed. For our 4 day stay, we never received housekeeping. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Changed our own garbages. Pool towel place rarely had clean towels. Lobby store was understaffed. All employees were nice though.

I stayed at this resort this past weekend. There were several issues during my stay, which I tried to address with staff. The entire stay I was advised that they were taking note; however, a manager was not available at the time. I would be told at 3pm there would be a manager available but would return at the times stated to be told no manager was available. The room had a mildew odor. The phone was not working in the room. The remote in the room was not working, this was the only issue resolved during the stay the following day. Saturday a roach was found crawling in the restroom and I was advised that there were no other rooms available for them to switch me to. I have tried calling since to speak with a manager, only get a recording and no return phone call. Dead roaches were also found by the door. Flamingo water Resort was a horrible experience.
