“Great Place for Kids”
We took our grandchildren age 7 and 9...Was a Super place for kids. In fact they liked just staying at Hotel as so much to do. Everything was nice and clean and great life guards at pool. Our pool (they have 3) was only 3 ft. so did not have to worry so much about deep ends. The guys at the game room were great and so helpful with the kids playing. We were really impressed with this hotel..if you are traveling with kids...this is the place
“Awesome Place!”
The hotel was a wonderful place for a family going to Disney. Courteous, helpful and pleasant staff! Extremely clean! Would stay here again and again!
“Best Bang for Your Buck”
The hotel is very clean, the rooms are comfortable. Let's face it how much time do you spend in a hotel room? I go on vacation to do and see things relax by the pool. This hotel has it all laundry is convenient and you don't have to pack a lot. the only drawback is that at peak times it does have a lot of kids, but you can get a room away from the noise. Food court is great breakfast pizza has it all.
“Great Disney "value" resort”
We always stay here and it's always met Disney expectations and quality. Rooms are clean, transportation to parks very convenient, etc. Rates are always reasonable.
“Better Than We Bargained For”
We chose the Pop Century Resort because we just couldn't rationalize spending tons of money on a hotel we would hardly use. Afterall, we were going for the Disney Parks, not the hotel. Turns out that we made a great decision! The room was your average hotel room (ours had two double beds) and it was very clean. We did swim a few days of our visit, and my nine year old loved the 3 icon-shaped pools. She also loved all the giant characters and fad icons (especially Lady and the Tramp and the rubic's cubes). Although there is not a restaurant at the hotel, the food court is clean, tasty, and has many choices. I definitely recommend purchasing the refillable mug for use for the week. The room did not have a coffee maker in it, so the mug was particularly useful for daily coffee fill-ups in the food court. The staff was very friendly (something that seems true of all Disney employees!). I was especially pleased with the concierge services. The concierges I talked to were knowledgable, friendly, and able to help me set up exactly what I was after. Now that we've returned home, we continue to feel we made the best decision on our Disney accomodations. You will get the benefits of a Disney resort (transportation, extended hours, great service) without the high price. We would recommend the Pop Century to anyone looking for a kid friendly, financially savy place to stay.
“Best economy at Disney”
Bringing kids made me look at the 'economy' selection of Disney properties. It was listed as an Expedia favorite pick and I was surprised because it was far less expensive than the previous Disney property I stayed at. The only economy aspect was the not too comfortable beds. However, that was totally minor. The Hippy Dippy Pool was the best pool ever, the life guards were happy and chatty, the pool big enough to never feel crowded. The chamber service was terrific, the cute way they greeted us after a long day at the Parks was appreciated. The bus service to the parks was easy and enjoyable. This is a great Disney location...but after all it IS Disney...
“Better than All Stars”
Excellent Disney hotel
“Can't wait to go back”
Pop Century Hotel was a great place to stay. We had a room that was close to the main pool which was excellent for my children. The restaurant was good with plenty of food choices.
“Great vacation!”
Great vacation!
“Great experience!”
I was a little hesitant at first after reading mixed reviews, but decided to see for myself. We came to this hotel after disembarking off our cruise ship early in the morning. We knew most hotels offered check in around 3pm and it was only 9:30 am but we had passes to Disney World so we expected to have to leave our luggage with conceirge and check in in the evening. However, when we arrived, we were able to check in immediately!!! The hotel was huge! I knew it was a "value" resort, but this far exceeded my expectations for a "value" resort. Well, maybe not--it is after all, part of Disney, and everything Disney is magical and this was no exception. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttles were very fast and there were tons of them. We never waited more than about 5 minutes for one. The Disney World Park is HUGE and the resort is far out there, but that's not their fault....The food, well, I would have liked more of a selection, but we were there only a couple of days and ate in the park most of the time. It was pricey, but again, it's Disney, so I was expecting it so it was not a surprise. The rooms were basic but who spends time in them? Overall, I was very impressed and would definately go back!!!
