“Excellent hotel!”
Excellent hotel when your staying with children at Disney and you want to save a couple of dollars by making your own breakfast and dinners.
“Wonderful and relaxing in midst of Disney fun!”
Very clean spacious and well-appointed "studio" condo had lovely covered patio with ceiling fan, huge bedroom,living/dining area,well-equipped kitchen, superb whirlpool in a gorgeous bathroom with separate his/hers sinks! Very private-- bamboo and shrubs surrounding. Also a large laundry area in condo with iron and board. SO convenient...I did a load every night --they provided the detergent--and went home with clean clothes! Completely wheelchair/handicap accessible. King bed so comfortable. Both TVs working perfectly with cable. We had trouble with our Internet access and while staff responsive, the problem was never solved. (It would keep "dropping" the service.) We adored the restaurant on site --Olivia's -- family oriented but the food was fantastic at both dinner and breakfast. (And my husband and I always dine at "upscale" restaurants.) I kept feeling like I was in Key West-- Disney Magic! TIP: the creamy grits are "to die for"!! Parking isexcellent. The bus service to everywhere in Disney was convenient and frequent. Pool nearby with Turtle Shack bar. We took the motor launch each night to Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island..never had to wait. Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Old Key West was exactly what you would expect from Walt Disney World -- perfect in every way for an escape from the "real world"!
“In a word, fabulous!”
We are a family of 5 and this was a great option for us. We stayed in a 2 bed villa and the accommodation was great, lots and lots of room and we found the Disney transport system very convenient. Old Key West isnt cheap but it is definitely worth it if you are after a resort retreat as well as proximity to the theme parks. Overall, sensational and we would definitely stay here again.
“Excellent!! Can't wait 'til next year to go again.”
Old Key West is a "vacation club" property and the room we stayed in made me want to join. We got the 2 Bedroom villa which has full kitchen. Rooms are spacious. Disney Transportation stop was a few feet from our door. Easy access to downtown Disney as well as anywhere else on or off property. Loved it. Little expensive but worth it for a get-a-way with 8,2,& 17 year old.
“can't wait to go back”
Everything was exceptional...
“need to use the shuttle to take guests back and forth tio the lobby.bus wait is too long..”
the rooms were great...good maid service..if you fly in with no car....the villas are too far to walk from the main registration center/resturant/pool and store...and the internal bus wait is too few and far between. they need to use the shuttle for this..as this is a big spread out complex...otherwise it was a-1..
“can't wait to go back”
Room is very nice. Beach is beautiful. Staff is very friendly
“Amazing”
Hotel 100%, very clean. The full kitchen + washer and dryer makes the diference.
“Welcome Home”
The staff is extremely helpful and consideate of your needs. Our non-smoking room was unavailable when we arrived and we were upgaded to a smoking suite for the night. The next day we were upgraded to a water view non smoking suite (The smoking rooms are terrible if you dont smoke.)The ferry is fun to take to Downtown Disny. The pool and slide are great.
“Very confortable hotel”
The Disney people really make you feel like this is your home away from home.
