“Excellent value”
Just returned from 4 night stay-8 people in 3 basic rooms. Entire stay was seamless from check in to check out. Beautiful grounds but facility is large and spread out. Two areas for dining were nice. Maya Grill is upscale with excellent food and service. Pepper Market is unique fast food set up. Different stations for type of food desired.
“Coronado is highly underated”
Recently had a fantastic stay at Coronado Srings. The rooms have recently been refurbished and are beautiful. Considering this is the only Disney moderate hotel to have queen beds, flat screen tvs, sliding doors to the bathroom (rather than a curtain, room service, full-service restaurant and room service it is really more like a Disney Deluxe. Have stayed at the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Polynesian and Port Orleans French Quarter and think the Coronado Springs is the best value. If I had the money to stay at a resort on the monorial it would always be my first choice. However, the Coronado Springs will be our second choice go-to resort. Also, the transportation was actually really go. You are super close to MGM and the Animal Kingdom plus you don't share buses with another resort. Can't really say anything negative about our recent visit.
“Best hotel ever”
Great place to stay... everything is right on the premises...easy to get transportation around Disney... great , cheerful staff... very accomadating..
“Another happy Disney experience”
My husband and I stayed six days at Coronado Springs and enjoyed it very much. The resort seemed busy but not crowded, with a good mix of guests with and without children. Many international guests as well. Grounds and resort are, as usual, well manicured and maintained. Good food options, especially if you like Mexican food (though burgers, pizza, salads, etc. also available). Walk from the guests rooms to the main resort is a little long due to the central lake, but that was the only drawback.
“Enjoyable Time”
After reading reviews criticizing the Coronado as too large, I was a little worried about our 2-night stay there; however, we really enjoyed it. We spent most of our time at the parks anyway. The room was comfortable and quiet. It was located near the #3 bus stop, and we never had a problem catching a bus. The children went in the pool one afternoon around 4:00, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was not overcrowded. Although we had our car, we parked it when we arrived at the hotel and used the bus transportation the whole time. We would definitely stay there again.
“A Disney resort that you get what you payed for”
The resort was beautiful. To anyone thinking of going here I would highly recomend it. The pool's are amazing, and the lake sets of a nice relaxed state felt around the entire resort. There are countless rooms spread out accros this enormous resort, so you will never feel crowded.
“extremely beautiful, picturesque”
Coronado springs is a well maintained resort in Disney. It has a friendly atmosphere. the food is outstanding as well as the service. We cant wait to go back again! I would reccommend this resort to anyone who is staying on Disney property.
“great value for staying on property”
Great value for a Disney property. The main pool is one of the best of all the Disney hotels (including a fantastic and unique playground for the kids) and the hotel grounds are beautiful with great Disney "theming" (white sandy beaches with hammocks!). It is a convention hotel, so the property is immense (plan to walk at least 5 to 10 minutes to the main pool or the dining area/lobby from most rooms). But because it is a convention hotel, you get more perks at this moderate resort than others on Disney property (including a respectable health club and a lap pool, and I think better bus service and dining options at the Pepper Market). Rooms are only average and you could clearly hear the sound of toilets flushing in other rooms (but NOT footsteps or conversations), but you won't spend much time in the room (bring a fan or noise machine if little noises in the late night or early morning wake you). We have stayed on 6 other Disney properties over the years, all of them Deluxe. This experience was our first with a Moderate resort and I don't think we will go back to paying the higher rates at the Deluxe hotels (except maybe the Wilderness Lodge).
“Great hotel! Great pool with water slide and playground!”
Great hotel, clean rooms and awesome pool with playground! Great trip!
“Nice place to stay”
We always enjoy staying on Disney property for the convenience. The Coronado is a huge sprawling hotel. The room was very clean and beds extremely comfortable. The main pool is big, with a nice sllide. It was so hot and humid while we were there, even the pool water seemed hot. I don't really care for the way the restaurant works. They give you a card which you bring up when you order your food. They stamp the meal you've chosen and you pay on the way out. The food was good, however, with a Mexican flair. I do think this hotel has a lot of conventions. I have stayed here twice. I would stay again, but honestly liked other Disney hotels better. My experience was very good here, and I would recommend it for others.
