“very nice---Kids loved the view of the animals”

“Wonderful Experience”
We stayed in a one-bedroom villa at Kidani Village with a Savannah View and had a truly wonderful experience. The accomodations were comfortable and the view was incredible. When I made our reservations, I was dubious about whether we would have the opportunity to truly see animals from our balcony, but I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival when three giraffes were roaming right outside of our room. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. While the resort was a little far away from parks, the serene environment and unique encounters definitely made it worth it. My three-year-old son enjoyed his time at the resort as much as he enjoyed his time at the parks - which is really saying something! I would definitely recommend staying at this resort.
“Sleeping on the Savanna”
You can't beat this hotel for ambiance. Animals right outside your window, viewing areas located every 10 feet. It's a very peaceful place, even with all the activities going on all over the place. The service was good, the hotel is immaculate, it's a real escape. The pools, fitness centers, and restaurants are all outstanding. Bus service to the parks and other hotels was better here than at a number of the other Disney properties (like the Beach Club and Saratoga Springs). On the downside: the hallways are like wind tunnels (it was more comfortable walking outside the hotel to get to my room at the far end), the hotel is very big and spread out over a large area, they charge for internet (and no wi-fi in the rooms). My biggest annoyance was the lack of internet availability. It's 2011, everyone is wired, Disney needs to recognize. But other than that, this was an amazing and unique place and I would definitely recommend it.
“Animal Kingdom - Pick your room!”
Animal Kingdom Lodge is an awesome experience for all. We have young kids that were thrilled but the adults were just as happy (and in most cases even more so) to see the wildlife and stay at this resort. We stayed in Kidani Village 1 bedroom villa. Full two baths, full kitchen, and balcony overlooking the Sahara. Couple Notes: Kidani Village is a LONG trip to the lobby. Its not terrible if you are doing the trip twice a day, but if more, like using the pool, it could be a hassle. Plus Kidani village has the small lobby with no restaurants. They're in the Jambo House. The views of the Sahara and animals were good because they seem to wisely move the animals around so all guests get a chance to see different ones outside of their balcony. (We were directly in the middle of the horseshoe at Kidani) However, Jambo House or rooms near either have much more open/unrestricted views of many animals all at once roaming the property. The room we stayed at was also on the top floor. I agree with other guests reviews that the top of the trees severely impact how far you can see. You're better off near the 2nd fl that can see under the trees and farther through. However the bottom line in my opinion is this... ****Stay at the Jambo house near the lobby area with a Sahara view to experience the most convenience and superior views of the animals!**** Overall it's a great resort and excellent place to bring the kids for a vacation they'll be talking about a long time to come!
“Disney World Animal Kingdom Villas”
The hotel was perfect for large families. Great place to stay. The staff was superb and very pleasant; Also greeted you with a smile. The employees who answered questions about the aminals was so great with my grandkids. They had the patience of a saint. Very informaitive.
“Tucson, Az”
Very comfortable, spacious room for our family of 4. Pull out sofa is not hard or lumpy and fits 2 and a second pull out armchair is available as a single bed for a potential of 5 people comfortably in room. Full kitchen, washer and dryer an added plus for washing and drying wet swim suits/clothes, and keeping some milk, water and simple breakfast in the room. Very nice to have 2 bathrooms and separate room for parents. The savana and animals just outside your room is great! The room service and Saana restaurant are very good. Essentially Indian food with very fresh ingredients and toned down spiciness. Only downside, an extreme long walk from lobby to rooms located in an arc away from lobby in order to savanna. Get Disney Magical Express! It take a lot of hassle out of airport luggage check-in and makes the airport to hotel transition seamless.
“very good esperience”
very happy
“Animal kingdom kidani”
The room was too far a walk from the lobby. This is a design weakness of kidani village. After hours check-in was weak but other than that, the stay as excellent
“Fun to see the animals roaming on the savannah.”
It was a kick to see the animals from our balcony! The villa was comfortable, though the lighting was quite dark. The TV reception kept breaking up. Technicians came twice to fix the problem. The first time was ineffective, the second time the technician came before the requested time while we were getting ready to go out. We gave up after that. The rates are just so outrageously high that such inconveniences seem intolerable. If there is a next time, we'll stay at a more reasonably priced venue and see the animals at the Animal Kingdom theme park.
