Townhome with no cleanliness issues
I arrived at the property before the end of check in time listed in the pre-arrival email from the property. No one was present at the front desk. I had to call the hotline number in order to get a code to get the key to my unit. Upon inspecting the unit I was assigned, I found blood on a mattress cover, ants and roaches in the kitchen, pet dander in multiple bedrooms, stains on furniture, sand in hot tub and stains on walls. I was told the general manager would contact me within 20 minutes. He never did. Someone from the call center asked me to go check another unit at the property. The second unit had not been cleaned by housekeeping. My family and I left the property and had to find other accommodations for our week long vacation. I spoke with the general manager, Elvis, the next day. He guaranteed me a refund of $800+. That was 8 days ago. I still have not received my refund. I have emailed the general manager and called multiple times but have gotten no response.

Not so good
Very disappointed...... Took our family of 7 to Orlando to see Disney Parks. Arrived at Coral Cay and it looked absolutely nothing like the website. Old and not kept well. Little to nothing in the bathrooms and kitchen....Beds were filthy to the point we bought new bedding at a Walmart.Never will I use them again.....keep looking!. .

I loved the are very quiet but we didn’t really have control of anything like parking or the temperate of the house. We gambas to clean are self if not we had to pay 100 dollars more

Spring Break trip
Overall, it was a great experience. Staff was very friendly but difficult to reach at times. Location was excellent and safe. Townhouse was definitely older and showed significant wear, beds were uncomfortable and two of the four TVs did not work. Everything was clean but sugar ants were present. I wound still recommend Coral Cay, especially if you have a family and want lots of space and flexibility.

Floor on second floor was very noisy when you walk on it. Felt lose. Not enough pots and pans. Bed comforters very bad quality.

The property was very nice. The furniture was all stained including the wall. They are only at the office for 30 minutes in the morning and once more in the evening. It made it difficulty to keep plans made and check in. Didn’t get the key for the pool until bacially our last night there. It was in a great local area. Not far from universal Disney, fun spot old town, Walmart, Publix, fast food and Wawa. Love the hot tube in the back small screen back area. Didn’t like that the guy who cleaned it just walks right in to clean and then speaks another language. Made it hard to communicate this to him. I like the step up the full kitchen. King bed, queen bed and futon was not too bad but the two twin bed were very uncomfortable. One of my guest stay with me felt all there furniture looked like it was bought in a good will and filled in at all the different villas. Would stay in a similar place just a bit cleaner. My son and I have diabetes so it worries me that there was ants and stuff inside the house before we even arrived, filled in all over the dish washer.

The best thing about this place is that it is gated. I can also say that the gentleman at the check in counter was very nice. That is probably the end of the pros to staying at Coral Cay. Now I will start with the cons....the living room furniture is filthy. There are huge, gross spots on the sofa and chairs. The carpet is nasty. You don’t want to walk barefoot. It was nice to have 4 bedrooms if only the beds were nice. I’m not sure how old these beds are but they are extremely uncomfortable! That goes for all of the beds. There is a futon in a 5th bedroom that has seen better days. Now on to the bathrooms. I’m not sure about 2 of the bathrooms but the one in the master bedroom was dirty. There was long black hair in the tub. No one in our party has long black hair. The toothbrush holder is moldy. Disgusting! Now for the kitchen. The kitchen seemed to be clean enough but the pots and pans need to be replaced. There is also a hot tub in this unit. Unfortunately for us it was a cold tub. We had to call the front desk because it wasn’t working. He came and fixed that but it took until the day we checked out to heat up. The patio furniture needs to be replaced as it was also very dirty and dry rotted. Apparently it’s been out there a long while and cheap plastic chairs and tables cannot take the Florida sun for too long without being replaced.

Nice townhouse alternative to hotel in Kissimmee.
Experience booking through Expedia was excellent, as was the individual from Coral Cay who checked us in. Unfortunately had two issues 1) air conditioning did not keep temp below 72 degrees and did not get fixed even though we requested repair and 2) some issue with roaches.

Not impressed this time
Out of 4 stays at coral cay, this unit was not in the best condition. It need alot of cosmetic fixes. Painting, was missing linnen and the washer was too loud. The worst was neighbors leaving at 7am in the morning and make noise for over 30 minutes. Besides that i would still return as i love the location and how hàndy it is too eveeything. Wish there was an offer/diacount for returning guests

Big but dirty
The house was so dirty. The sheets and towels seemed fine but the bathroom and tables had not been washed in looks like months. So slimy and gross. You pay a large deposit on the house that has ripped screens, broken blinds, ratty towels, and is filthy. If it’s a really large group and you don’t mind doing your own cleaning it’s a lot of space for cheap. The hot tub smelled clean but was off when we arrived so the water was cold. Also they don’t have full blankets on the bed, just sheets with a thin decorative cover that slides off, but that’s ok because you can’t turn the air below 72 so it’s warm in there anyway. I understand they are privately owned but there needs to be some guidelines of what is expected. Have previously stayed in units like these with nice furniture, it be clean but this was disgustingly dirty, filled with broken furniture and old TVs that only got the Disney channel.

The check in process after hours was very inconvenient. The townhome was very dirty and very outdated. Had to go to Walmart at 1:00 am to buy sheets and pillows for the sofa bed. The sorrounding area was a bit sketchy. This was a last minute booking and by far has been my worse.

Avoid this hotel!
First off let me say I have never given a 1 star review, but this place deserves it. We booked right after hirrican Irma hit, our house lost power and we needed a place to stay with the kids. I called before we booked since there was a no cancellation policy, we needed to make sure there was power and internet. After finally getting a hold some someone she said they were in full working condition, power and internet. Great, yay! So we booked. And when we arrived for check in we were informed, with another guest there as well, that there was no phone, internet, or tv. I was livid! So after being lied to and now wasting our $400 on this hotel, when we could have stayed elsewhere, we went to the room. This place is a freaking apartment complex and a rundown one at that. Literally the people a few doors down worked on cars in the middle of the road! The furniture was disgusting, covered in stains. I couldn't even let the kids sit on it. The downstairs toilet had no way to flush it. The sheets had NOT been changed. The bedspread and sheets were covered in stains! I pulled then off and washed them. I can't tell you how much fun it was sitting in a hotel with no tv and 2 kids! We brought a baby gate for the stairs, since we have a walker. Couldn't even attach them, there was no way to make sure our child was safe, other than constantly walking around with him. The kitchen cabinets couldn't be baby proofed either, it was lovely to find dirty ashtrays under the sink! We left after 1 n

Quiet townhouse
Townhouse was large and grounds were well kept. Any interactions with property management staff were professional and pleasant.Other than pool and playground not much to do. Townhouses are privately owned and the unit we were given was well cleaned but in need of updating. Carpet was very warn and stained and living room furniture was worn and stained. Advertised as self sustaining which was fine but a few more patio chairs or additional bedding would have been nice.

key box wouldn't open
The townhouse overall was good, but we arrived after the office was closed, so we got a combination for the key box by the door. It wouldn't open with the combination that was given to us, so my family and I were stuck outside for at least 30 minutes talking on the phone to various staff members. We were finally given a combination that opened the key box and we were able to get in. The townhouse was spacious with 3 bedrooms and an additional room with a futon, as well as a living room and kitchen. It was great having so much room, and separate beds for all the kids. Not being able to get in the first night right away was really aggravating, though!

The place was all moldy filled with cockroaches the hot tub was green and no chlorine. The air conditioning couldn't be turned lower than 72 extremely hot. The floors where black they where so dirty and I have pictures of everything. We had to leave a day early because of the mold and 2 people had asthma and the mold put them into full blown attacks.

Staff was friendly and responsive to any requests I made. Townhouse was clean but carpeting and furniture shows heavy wear in the unit we were in. All appliances worked well. Hot tub in patio of unit was very clean and maintained well. Did not see any evidence of any type of insects in or around our unit at all during the week we were there. I would stay here again.

Electric outlets not in working order. Hot tub not ready. Kitchen lacking necessary items. To let clogged. Electric breakers blew. This was are fourth stay at this place maintenance seems to be getting worse with each stay. We will not be returning.

Stay was great for the size of family I traveled with, enough rooms and space for comfort, full kitchen, had 2 and half bath which was great, also included jaccuzzi tub on screened in deck which was great to soak in after a long day at Disney world.

Nice and quiet place. Close to a lot of places like supermarkets, restaurantes, parks, etc.

Patio for hot tub was very small & not private, and did not have a pleasant outlook, a wall a few feet away bordering what looked like a trailer park. The general cleanliness of the accommodation did not make the hot tub an enticing prospect. It was not filthy, but it was not gleaming either. Accommodation was spacious, but far from pristine. Dated facilities obvious from CRT TV's. Its a bit off the main drag, and not really possible to safely walk to anywhere. Then again, everyone drives everywhere in Florida anyway. I would not return by choice, as there are so many other better properties in the area for similar money. 2 adults and 2 kids in party, none wanted to return here. Nothing awful, but nothing great either. Neighbour was friendly, check in staff were courteous and efficient.

This resort has potential. And it’s reasonably priced for a family looking to stay within driving distance to Disney. However, based on my bad experience, I don’t recommend staying here unless you’re willing to deal with some issues. Expedia's limited review space doesn't allow enough space for all of the details, so I'll try to be brief. Coral Cay advertises on their website and confirmation ppwk that their office is open 8:30am - 7pm daily. I came by at 6:30pm to pick up portable scooters they were holding for elderly members in my group. Office closed early; put me in a bind in getting the scooters. After hours center offered no help until I demanded to have call transferred to another property's mgr. Thanks go to that manager, Antonio, who was helpful in resolving our arrival issue. During departure, I tried returning the scooters at 8:30am, but the office didn't open until 9am. Almost missed my flight. Horrible customer service! Living room and kitchen in townhome were fine, but beds missing correct size mattress pads and blankets. Pillowcases were clean but had old stains. Carpet needs deep cleaning or to be replaced. Beds need to be badly replaced. Nice playground for kids. Resort has good pricing and could be a great deal, but service issues keep it from being recommended.
