“Can't wait to go back!”
I loved The Tides Inn in Laguna Beach, CA! The room was great, the location was great, and the cleanliness was great! I would recommend this hotel to others and will definetally stay at The Tides Inn on my next trip to Laguna Beach!
“good value”
Basic but comfortable. Air conditioning in room works very well. Pool and pool area is a lot smaller than it appears in photos. Nothing for children, but for a couple of nights to see the Pageant of the Masters and other Art shows it is more than adequate.

“The most comfortable bed in California!”
This was a very quaint little hotel. The outside barely hints at the comfortable and tasteful interior. The staff was extremely accommodating, especially with our late check-in, and we were very impressed overall.
“Awesome and Fun Snoopy Room”
We had a great time staying here. It is perfect for going to Knotts Berry Farm. We could walk to the amusement park and leave our vehicle at the motel.
“Perfect”
Our stay was great. The room (204) was quite spacious with beautiful decor and even had a small kitchen. If it were not for pre-planned activities I would have made full use of the outdoor lounge/pool/barbaque area. The location is great too. Main beach and downtown are a short walk (400m maybe). This is for sure on our list of places to stay and would highly recommend it.

My family and I stayed at this hotel a week ago. It was very clean, convinient, and comfortable. It is well worth the value. There was plenty of parking, the pool area was clean and nice, the rooms were comfortable, cool and clean -even the bathroom.. For the price this is a great value.
“Charming, clean, affordable...perfect!”
I used to live about a block away from The Tides in the mid 1990's and I must say it was in pretty serious need of repair and upgrade. On a recent trip back to Laguna Beach, after being away about 12 years, I was pleased to learn the hotel had new owners and did they ever clean the place up and then some! It was spotless, fresh, inspired, and the owners (who were working the property as well) were just so nice and welcoming. It's not a fancy place and our room was on the small side (though in Laguna you should at the beach or enjoying the town and weather- not sitting around in a hotel room!!), but for the price, location, views–it's the total package. We will definitely stay there again.
“suprisingly quaint”
A very nice place. Our room had an actual fireplace and was nicely decorated. The pool area and pool were great. The Tides is the best value in Laguna! Try it you won't be sorry.
“I plan to visit often”
I had a one night stay at Tides Inn and wished I could have spent more time there. I love the Laguna Beach area and this was a very relaxing visit. The Inn was very clean and comfortable, the rooms are all non smoking so the room did not smell of old smoke. Check in was quick and easy but parking was tight.
