“Super 8 was very good”
We had a relaxing and quiet time at the Costa Mesa Super 8. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, staff was very helpful and pleasant, and there was a decent breakfast bar in the mornings. Great value and better than others in the area.

“Great Stay”
My experience at the hotel was great. The staff, room, property, and breakfast were as good as you would want to expect from a 2.5 star hotel. There are plenty of fast food, shopping, and even a Irish Pub close by. 405 and 55 Freeways are very accessable.
“Very impressed”
The Super 8 Costa Mesa Newport Bch is very nice and an excellent value. Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable and large. The staff was friendly and helpful; for example I had trouble determining how operate the "free movies" -- the person on desk duty voluntarily come to the room for a few minutes and cleared up my questions. Unlike some other hotels in the area there was no additional fee for parking. We will return when back in Orange County.

“Would stay here again”
Our first motel stay in USA, this trip. The location suited us - Orange County Fairgrounds market place within walking distance. Coco's restaurant over the road, bar on site, Longbeach swap meet close by, as are Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. We did not have our laptop with us, but there is a computer free to use, along with a printer, in the reception/breakfast area. This service was not available at any other motels we stayed at ( not Super 8) The room was quiet. Smelt a bit musty - old carpet?
“Would Stay Here Again”
My boyfriend and I were in town for a seminar, so we decided on this Super 8 for its location and price. We had stayed at one in Redding the night before and all I can say is this was a dream send compared to that one. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was just what we needed (big bed, TV, fridge, etc.) and it was worth the price. The surrounding area sucks but we didn't really stay there much. However, there are some great restaurants!
“Good for Disneyland and beaches visit”
I chose this because it is halfway between the beaches and Disneyland and cheaper than hotels at Disney. There is a great park for kids (Angel's playground) a few blocks away and restaurants and shopping everywhere. It is clean and has a decent breakfast with a waffle maker. My only complaint is that the pool was cranked above 90 degrees but this is understandable considering the cool spring in California. Parking at Disney is $14 so if you can't find a walking/shuttle distance hotel for less than $20 more than this one, consider staying here.
“good stay and much worth the price”
room was clean; front desk was very helpful definitely a good deal in the much highly priced orange county. 15 min driving to the balboa island and beach, 15-20 min in another direction to the disney island/convention center got some eateries around, no much fancy neighbourhood but good enough for trip on budget
