“Loved it! Hope to go back again!”

A great place to stay, convenient to lots of wonderful beach areas (San Clemente, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano), including the sandy beach directly across the highway! If you go, plan to stay awhile. You'll have everything you need right in the room; it was a suite, including a fully stocked kitchen. The one bedroom suites have an ocean view. Our only complaint is that it is right on Pacific Coast Highway, which meant a lot of traffic noise. Expedia's price for this hotel was well below what it was really worth!

“Ideal location”

We had such a great time at the rivera Shores. I was a bit skeptical from the reviews that were negative. Beds were VERY comfortable. Kitchen was small but good use of space, no oven though. People complained about the train passing by, ridiculous, its just a passenger train and goes by quickly, with little disturbance, we never heard it while sleeping. Dana point Harbor has many restaurant and San Clemente beach and pier is close by and fabulous. Can't wait to go back

“Great location”

We wanted an overnight stay in Dana Point - boat parade at Dana Harbor, dinner, shopping, etc. Location and price was perfect. Room was perfect example of time share resort living that we are used to. Ocean view from our balcony as we had cheese and wine in the afternoon. Coffee in the morning as we looked out from our kitchen table (too cold to sit outside early in the morning). We read reviews that some people didn't care for the road being in front of resort along with the railroad tracks. Hey, didn't bother us. With the view of the ocean, who cares? We would definitley go back.

“nice place”

I stayed 2 nights while visiting my Dad. It was awesome. I was lucky and got a room with a ocean view. It was suite and had a small kitchen which had enough to cook full meals. It even had at BBQ on the balcony. The pool and Jacuzzi were open late and were very nice, It even had a Jacuzzi bathtub in the suite. It had two TV's but they where not the new flat screens, you should go outside and play anyway. They had bike rentals but I brought my own bike. Of course there is road noise and train noise but the view is worth it.

“Very Nice for the Money”

This is a "time share" condo resort right on the beach in Dana Point. The rooms are very spacious with a separate bedroom, living room and adjoining full kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils. The room was very clean. The property is older, but very well maintained. The balcony opens onto HWY 1 and the ocean, which is directly across the street. Great views, even if it's over a busy highway. The sliding glass door onto the patio is double paned and cuts out all of the outside noise. All-in-all, a very nice experience for the money. I would recommend this proper;ty.
