“residence Inn”

What an awesome experience. I told the people at the desk it was my sons birthday and when we got back to the room there was a cake with skittles and a big birthday card all gratis!!! It made our weekend not only great but what memories are made of.. What a great experience. We will definitely stay there again.

“Very pleasant experience”

We enjoyed our stay very much. I thought it a little strange that the gals working the front desk, although Hispanic, had very poor grammer. The heater was noisy, but comfortable. We will be back.

We had a blast at universal studios and going to the rose bowl to watch the ASU vs UCLA game.

“Love! Love! The Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate”

My family of seven stayed comfortably in a two-bedroom suite. Though the bathroom upstairs was smaller than on a cruise ship, the service at the hotel from the front desk to housekeeping was fabulous! Our room was clean and the beds, comfortable. Though we had no time to enjoy the use of the kitchen, it was completely stocked with dishes, glasses, coffee maker, toaster and even dish washing & dishwasher soap! No problems at all with our room. The free breakfast included was enjoyed by everyone and was a great time and money saver. We used the shuttle service to Disneyland. There was a small charge per person but it was cheaper than parking two cars. The drop-off was close to the Disneyland entrance so that was a timesaver, especially after a long day at the park. I highly recommend this hotel for large families.

“Can't wait to go again”

We were able to check in early. What we thought was going to be a "bad" location for a room in the hotel complex, because it was close to busy road, turned out to be great! After a BUSY day at Disneyland, we were able to come back to our room and swim whenever we wanted, as the pool and jacuzzi are open 24hrs. Since we left the park early, we thought we had missed the fireworks. But no, we heard them start and were able to watch them from our room, beautiful! The room was very nice, and the bed was perfect. It was nice having a full kitchen as well. Only cons...TV channels not so great and they kept forgetting to refill coffee supply. But it was ok, because we could bring our free breakfast/coffee back to our room. Would definitely go back to the Marriott Anaheim Maingate again (hopefully soon!).

Area recommendations

Disneyland of course! But for a fun and delicious meal, try Medieval Times. We enjoyed very much.

“Quiet and comfortable”

Stayed here for 4 nights with family. Had a studio room with full kitchen. Kitchen was well appointed and spotless. Bed was comfortable - pull-out less so but that is expected. Good air-conditioning. Front desk staff always helpful. Housekeeping was impeccable. Breakfast was better than most mid-priced hotels I've experienced. Hot food - different every day - and most importantly, scrambled eggs were fresh and not from a package! Good coffee. We walked to Disneyland everyday and found it quite manageable. There is a shuttle that stops in the parking lot but we have a wheelchair and find it easier to walk than load it in the bus. All in all, clean, comfortable, and good value. We would return.

“Four years and running.”

For the past four years we have booked with the Residence Inn, Maingate for each of our Disneyland trips and have been very satisfied with our stay. The rooms are clean and ready upon arrival, the staff is polite and efficient. The breakfast is excellent. Each of these trips have also been planned around my partners birthday and the staff has seen to it to help me surprise him with a birthday cake in our room. This year, they even included a bottle of wine. We highly recommend this hotel, for couples or couples with kids. One cation they do allow dogs but are responsive to complaints about barking.

“So-so”

This hotel was comfortable but our room was not cleaned until after 3:00 p.m. on most days. One day it wasn't cleaned until almost 5:00 p.m. - the housekeeper wanted to come in when we were trying to get ready for supper. Not impressed.
