“Single mom with two boys likes this place!”
Loved this place . It is very simple and plain, but AMAZING location. Tons of options for food, (ihop, dennys, millies, etc) movie theater around the block, and Disneyland is a walk across the street. Would stay here again and tell others about it. My two young sons and i love it. I felt safe with them, and the staff was VERY friendly and kind to us.
“Best Possible Value When Travelling with Kids to Disney!”
This hotel is the "Best"! The pool is heated and ranges in depth from 1.5 feet to about 9 feet. Right beside the pool is a hot tub from which you can view the nightly fireworks at Disney. The pool is superb for both kids and adults and is surrounded by palm trees. Wireless internet at this hotel is on the slow side so if you are planning to spend all of your time on your computer you will not be happy. The breakfast was the same every day but provided enough options to get you off to a great start. Staff keep the breafast area fully stocked and very clean. You dine by the pool and this is very comfortable. If you walked out the front gates and fell over you would hit Disneyland - that is how close you are! Too cool. The hotel has a grocery store, coffee shop, small food outlet and a travel agency located right on the property. Plenty of free parking. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel! Especially if you have children who like pools.
“Great value and perfect location”
This hotel was a fantastic value for the price. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast (muffins, danishes, cereal, juice, and coffee) saved us a lot of money that we would've otherwise spent on a muffin at Disneyland. (We spent our savings on extra ice cream cones later in the day.) Best of all, the hotel is about a half block from the main pedestrian entrance to Disneyland. We got from our hotel room to Main Street U.S.A. in just minutes, far faster than if we had to deal with parking.
“Excellent location”
Located directly across the street from the Disneyland Maingate. Office staff was very knowledgable regarding disneyland and the alternate local attractions. We stay at this lodging facility every time we travel to southern California.
“Pleasant surprise - far exceeded expectations!”
I am never quite sure what to expect with a 2-2.5 star hotel, but this one was great! We were staying in a room (286 I think) that didn't share a wall with any others; it was above a scooter shop looking out onto S Harbour Blvd. This worked perfectly for us. We didn't notice any noise from traffic, didn't have to worry about noisy neighbours or people coming home late at night, and we were at the entrance to Disneyland within 5 minutes (walking). Bathroom was well stocked with amenities, a fridge for personal use in the room, free parking, free papers plus free wi-fi. Really happy and would definitely stay there again.
“Perfect Family Vacation!”
Our trip to Disneyland was made even better by our stay at the Maingate Ramada. It is conveniently located next to the park (which really helps when you have younger children!) and it is clean, well-kept, and well maintained. Every morning when we went out for our "poolside" breakfast, they were cleaning the pools and surrounding areas, and our room was kept clean and orderly as well. We loved having the convenience of a microwave and refrigerator in our room as well. The towels were folded so cute and the welcome treats were a nice touch! Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience!
“Very happy with a "economy minded" hotel”
Customer service was very good. People were very helpful and willing to go out of the way to assist.
“Perfect for the whole family”
We had the family suite on the ground level. Our family of 5 had enough room to move around without bumping into each other. The service was great. We had a covered patio with table and chairs and nice green plants all around. The rooms are so quiet that we couldn't hear other people moving around above and beside. Our kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hot tub became too crowded when the 5th person stepped in but the pool had lots of room for swimming and splashing around. The only down fall was the limited continental breakfast. It would have been nicer to have more of a selection and a bigger space to move around in while trying to reach for the breakfast fixings. All-in-all we are pleased and would recomend this hotel for your family too. We walked into Disneyland in less than 10 minutes while passing many places to shop and eat.
“The Best”
They are great at Ramada Inn maingate
“Good Times”
We stayed here for our honeymoon for three days. My wife and I enjoyed every day of our stay. The room was spacious, There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. And the short walk to Disney main gate was well worth the stay. We are already planning a stay again next year.
