“Disneyland Visitor”

Overall the room was great. The main drawback is that the guests were noisy. I woke to the sound of a father and son screaming at each other in the hallwasy. It would have been a big plus not to have a room by the stairs where there is a lot of foot traffic. The major pluses are 1) the hotel is literally across the street from Disneyland; 2) the staff is more than willing to let you keep the car parked in the parking lot for 5-6 hours after you check out - this is valuable because you can go to Disneyland for the day after you check out; and 3) the rooms are kept in good shape. Other hotels for $20 less have power outlets that do not work, refrigerator and microwaves that are broken and bathroom fans that make a big raquet. The Ramada Maingate did not have any of this; paying $20 more was more than worth it.

“What we expected and would go back”

Chose this hotel for its location first, facilities second (free wifi and heated pool) and then room standard next. Room was all we needed although not the most modern it had everything and the room was well kept by house cleaning each day. Breakfast was not a priority but we thought it was not that great a quality. We would go back again and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The location is great. The staff was very friendly. We especially liked the comfortable bed & pillows. We'd go back.

“OK for the price”

This was more of motel than a hotel. Front desk staff very welcoming & helpful. It was OK - clean 'enough' - Maid service when I was in the room was sloppy - not vacuumed properly - maid seemed to be in a hurry even though I was staying well out of her way. Breakfast was certainly not diet friendly - all carbs except for the boiled eggs. It seemed to be mostly families staying at the hotel which given it's excellent proximity to Disney. 'Cheap & Cheerful' would be the best description.

“Great Location”

Incredibly close to Disneyland's main entrance, and cheaper than the hotels around it. Nice looking pool and breakfast, but I didn't partake in either. Room was clean but tiny. The shower-curtain rod was unfastening, but it held through the hotel stay. Excellent service from the front desk and the rest of the hotel staff. Would stay again, but might upgrade to a larger room.
