Spend the day at the beach and work on your tan with sun loungers (chaise longues) or relax in the shade with umbrellas. At Montage Laguna Beach you can cool off in one of the 3 outdoor swimming pools and indulge in a pampering afternoon at the full-service spa.

“PURE HEAVEN!!!”
This is one of the few resorts where ALL things come together perfectly: Location, Amenities, Food, Service. If you're thinking about going, just DO IT! Honestly, you will not regret it. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer...:)
“Amazing location, Excellent Service, Declining condition”
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. You truly can't beat the location. Incredible, incredible ocean views. Lounge out by the pool with a cocktail and stare at the ocean all day, or run along the beach. It's truly gorgeous, an amazing spot. Every room has a gorgeous ocean view. The hotel, restaurant, lounge, and spa staff are incredibly gracious and accommodating. There are also really nice little luxuries like champagne upon arrival and in the salon and nice bathroom products. My only disappointment was that the condition of the hotel room and lounge seem to be on the decline. For the lobby it's somewhat understandable since it is apparently very popular. But I was surprised to find a flickering lamp in my room, staticy TV reception, and a really worn out/lumpy mattress. For such a pricey location I had expected these things better looked after.

We HIGHLY recommend Montage Laguna Beach. The setting is beautiful and the service was perfect. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in.
“Enjoy and forget about everything! (your money too)”
Hotel, room and service there were spotless,the attention was paid to every detail, everything is made for your comfort, perfect place for relaxation. The only complaint is a cost of spa services, spa fits the hotel, but if you wish to have a massage there please check the prices first. Recommend hotel's Mosaic cafe is the best place for lunch in Laguna beach.
“Returning visitor - never disappointed”
Stayed at the hotel at least 5 times since it opened. Consistently high level of service. Excellent spa and ammenities. Furnishings showing slight wear and tear but still in good shape considering how many people pass through. Dining at the Loft pretty standard for a 5-star hotel, enjoyed the cheese dessert plate the most. One of my favorite places to get away to.
“Extraordinary Service”
Truly a fantastic experience. The service was beyond extraordinary from the concierge to the housekeepers; everyone had a smile and was willing to go to great lengths to ensure our stay was wonderful.
“Perfect Birthday”
5 Start all the way! I've been to many Preferred Hotels and this one this not disapoint either. Laguna Beach is my favorite place on Earth and on this occasion I wanted to stay at the Montage to celebrate my Birthday with my husband. The Food & service at the Studio restaurant were fabulous and the view.... The hotel the staff was all around amazing, as expected. My favorites touches were the wine and straberries at check-in, the turn down service and the bottles of water they placed in our car when we left. Its the little attentions that make the difference along with the great comfort of the bed and the room to complement this spectacular property and great ocean view rooms. Can't wait to go back next time we go back to California.
“Creme de la Creme!”
Loved this property! Was only able to visit for two days, but definitely would return. The location is so gorgeous, could be compared to the finest ocean front properties anywhere in the world. The service is impeccable and attentive without being intrusive. Visited the Spa and both restaurants. Service was consistent in every area. Hope we can return soon.
“Looking forward to going back”
We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at the Montage, and the hotel provided us with exceptional service. They even provided us with sparkling wine and chocolate strawberries for our celebration. We will definitely return again in the near future and will bring other family members.
