“Great people”
The front desk staff at this hotel are the warmest and most friendly people I've ever met in my travels!
“A good value”
I booked the Laguna Cliffs Inn on very short notice because I was originally staying with a relative. I found I was really inconveniencing my relative and her family, so quickly pulled up Expedia to find a room nearby that was not only available, but affordable. The LCI fit the bill perfectly. It's a block from the beach, and a short walk to downtown Laguna Beach. That means it's convenient to nearly everything that's fun in the immediate area. The downtown area has got interesting shops and some very nice restaurants. I arrived before check-in time, so I asked the front-desk person if I could take a look at a typical room - she was very accommodating and kind, leaving her duties to take me on a tour of the hotel and give a nice explanation of the hotel's amenities. In fact, every staff person I encountered during my two-night stay was equally nice, and they all made me feel very welcome. The only gripe I have is that the drinking cups are plastic, the coffee cups are paper. Otherwise, everything goes along with this being a good value for the price, just don't expect the Ritz. Oh, and try the Madison Square and Garden Cafe for lunch and/or brunch. It's diagonally across the street.
“Great stay and clean as can be”
Awesome hotel for the price, very clean and friendly, although it was a non smoking hotel like most now days it was very convenient to get our fix. The hotel was situated by one of the most beautiful beaches / parks in So. Cal. It was a short walk to downtown and the day we checked out they informed us that we could park there for the remainder of the day. There is no free parking in Laguna so this worked out great for us.

A bit pricey but staff was wonderful. They genuinely made you feel like friends, not just hotel guests. Within walking distance to town, shops, restaurants. 1 block from ocean walkway. We would consider next time.

we had a very comfortable stay. The staff were kind and very knowledgeable about the area. The condition of the hotel was impeccable .Thank you for everything.

Good location, only a few minutes walk to the main beach and shops and just a quick walk to Heisler Park. Very friendly service and housekeeping was quite good too.
“Get what you pay for and then some...”
Excellent experience at a good price. By no means fancy, but clean, roomy and very friendly. Fresh baked cookies, coffee and apples - nice touches. In town and walk to beach. Perfect for the situation.

Hotel staff was very freindly. Walked into room and loved it. It was all i needed. Flat screen tv ,clean bathroom and a great pillow top bed. I have a very expensive mattress at home and this was very close. Location was great. I could walk to beach or restraunts. Room had nice feel, not like you were in a box . left hotel very relaxed, can't wait to go back lol
“Can't wait to go back!”
This was my first stay at the Laguna Cliffs Hotel and it exceeded all of my expectations. The location is great. The hotel is right next to the ocean (only a block away), and it takes less than a minute to walk to the beach. The staff was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We were unfamiliar with the area and they made every effort to answer our questions and make suggestions. Our room was very clean and we were able to see the ocean from our balcony. The pool area is also very nice and clean. The pool is heated and there is a Jacuzzi. Overall this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at and I can’t wait to stay at the Laguna Cliffs Hotel again.
“The Best stay Ever”
I was really worried if I picked a good hotel, because that was my first time to laguna beach so I didn't know the area or anything, and when i got there i was beyond amazed. I would reccomend this hotel to everybody. We have another trip to cali coming up soon, and we will be stay at Laguna Cliffs Inn again!!
