“Good hotel but.....”

Its true, the train passes right by the hotel and although it passes often because its a passanger train the horns are not so loud but its not recomended for those who will spend alot of time in their room. Also, the shower heads are only about 5' so if your pretty tall like me thats not a good thing.

“Wasn't fancy, but worked perfectly”

The location is RIGHT on the RR tracks, so you hear the train go. Those things don't wake me, but might be disturbing for others. It isn't a new building, but clean and the staff was nice. They have a breakfast, complete with waffles (too bad, I have Celiac and can't eat them) but they also had yogurt, so it worked. But for most, with the toast & cereal, it was very acceptable to grab a fast breakfast. It's a little off the track, but we just needed a place to sleep before attending a memorial service, so it was fine. They had a nice pool & whirlpool, but we didn't have time to use. It was very reasonably priced, clean, right off the freeway, so it fit our needs perfectly.

“Just fine - but eat breakfast elsewhere if you can...”

Rooms were clean, service was completely adequate. Occasional bits of mess in the hallways. Location is totally boring, but convenient to highways. Breakfast was plentiful and neatly presented, but a little depressing -- plastic-wrapped bagels and danish, bad coffee. Guess that's pretty much what you would expect.

“Our stay was good”

Nice central location to many attractions. Stayed here for 5 nights during Spring Break - the weekend was busy due to a state chess tournament nearby. The breakfast lady did a fabulous job keeping up with the crowds. The building is unique, my son enjoyed its history. The trains can be loud but they go by quickly. Our room was on the opposite side from the tracks and we didn't hear the trains unless we were outside. Front desk folks were helpful, but needed to be more informed on local restaurants. Comfortable beds, room had mini-fridge & microwave.

“Everything fine but keep away from the train track”

Everything fine but keep away from the train track building - ask for a room in the building in the back. The highway is kind of noisy too, but it is OK if you keep your fan running

“Not bad for the price”

“Very Relaxing”

Even though the description tells the vacationer that there is a train nearby, the rooms are quiet even when it goes by. The beds are comfortable and the room was neat and well-kept. There was a refrigerator and a small microwave. Both were clean upon arrival to the room.

“So-So Stay”

The staff was very friendly. The room was not very clean. There is an active train station all night, but my run was far enough away that it did not disturb my sleep. However, it was a safe neighborhood and a cheap stay.
