Disneyland stay August 2014Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: We enjoyed the pools and were impressed with the selection at the gift store, we got breakfast there most days
Location: Was close to Disneyland and close to a variety of restaurants.
The only thing we were not happy with is we had 2 rooms booked. One was 2 queen beds and the other was a king bed. Because the rooms were different we could not be in the same building. In fact we were on opposite ends of the hotel which was not the most convenient.

Awsome awesome awsome.Posted 26-Aug-2014
Checked in early on a sunday with no problems. The first room we had was on the top floor but was next to the freeway which was very loud. Called the front desk and was given another room right away. The water park and little market were awesome we were able to watch the fireworks from our room and it only took 10 minutes to walk from our room to the Disney gates.

My kids had great time, swimming and having fun in the water play ground.

Perfect for visiting Disneyland. Walked to park. Could see fireworks from the grounds. Very clean and comfortable. Not fancy. Great water park for 5 yr old in our group.

The staff were not pleasant and when we arrived well before midnight they had already locked the lobby door and ignored us at the walk up window. After a twenty hour drive standing with our bags waiting while the staff stood inside talking with one another and ignoring us was not good. Also when we left we were told we could not leave our car parked on the last day and had to move it or be towed even though this was never the case when we have stayed at the same hotel before. We will not be returning. The room was not very clean and no elevator either.

Strives for 5, but...Posted 21-Aug-2014
Pros: Proximity to Disney Parks (8 minute walk -- some days we made the round trip twice). Great Wifi.
Cons: Freshen up the rooms
Location: Close to Disney (walking distance) and Shopping (short drive)
Reception was quick and easy. We arrived early so the room wasn't ready but were quickly provided with cards to access the pool & water park. Our 10 year old son had a great time at the water park. Had room 603 on the 6th floor in Building 1 overlooking the hotel water park on the Disney side, but a large tree obscured most of the view of the fireworks (we could see them if standing in one corner of the balcony). Room was clean, but looking a little tired (grout needs to be redone around the bath, chipped counters, carpets a little worn). Having two sinks was handy (one inside the bathroom, one just outside). Nice flat screen TV, with digital channels. Housekeeping service was excellent; Front desk was quickly able to accommodate our odd requests (screwdriver, anyone?). Wifi was excellent (and free), but you did have to re-register on the HoJo site more than once a day (took a few seconds once you realized). Overall a good stay. Would come back again, but won't bother with the view for the fireworks. However, I wouldn't want a room on the freeway side because of the view and noise.

Parents Dream Come TruePosted 16-Aug-2014
My family and I had the best time at this place! Our kids didn't want to leave the water park for a second. It was big enough to keep them occupied for hours and small enough to watch them right where I was sitting. This place was worth every penny! Every room had a balcony and was super clean. The arcade and the disney monorail going by was a nice touch too!! Coming back ASAP!

Hojo in AnaheimPosted 14-Aug-2014
Loved this place... Staff were friendly and helpful... Room was large (we had us AND our 3 kids in one room...) - and although there is no breakfast in the hotel, there is reasonably priced breakfast next door at Mimi's! Great! Just a walk to Disneyland, and an assortment of restaurants within convenient walking distance. All this comes VERY reasonably priced too.

Nice Hotel close to Disneyland.Posted 13-Aug-2014
Nice Hotel close to Disneyland with a great pool and water park. The ice machine in the hall was way to loud and the water in the shower kept going from extreme cold to extreme hot with no notice or flushing of the toilet. The hotel staff was courteous and knowledgeable of the area.

Family VacationPosted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Amenities and service.
Cons: If a free shuttle ride to and from Disneyland could be provided by the hotel.
Location: Close to Disneyland, but still a hot walk there and back.
My family enjoyed the amenities and had no problems during our stay.
