“Will stay there again when I go back in the future.”
Although I did not stay much in the room due to a very busy schedule, the room was clean and had all the amenities I needed for my stay. I appreciate having an iron and ironing board as well as hair dryer, refrigerator, microwave, etc. The staff was very friendly. I also appreciated the access to the computer/internet and the continental breakfast that was available each morning. Next time I travel to the San Clemente, CA area, I plan to stay here again.

Good service, pleasant room, & decent breakfast (fairly typical for a Holiday Inn Exp.). Centrally locacted for a visit to San Clemente. Elevator is very slow, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
“relaxing clean and peaceful”
This hotel was hard to find at first because it's on top of a hill behind a shoping center. BUT everything else we loved about the hotel. The hotel was clean and had a lot of charm to it.

it was awesome!! i accidentally turned the cable off on the tv and they had someone up to my room to assist me in less than 2 minutes!! Great breakfast as well :)

The location of the hotel was excellent. We did not have a car because we were visiting family. There were stores within walking distance. The treadmills in the workout room were awesome! The particular brand that was used had individual televisions attached to each unit. I was able to walk and us my earphones to watch my choice of show without interruptions. It made walking so easy. After three mornings in the workroom, I came home excited and ready to began a new regiment of daily walking. The bathroom and bedroom were beautiful too. I also loved having a patio to walk out on and view the surrounding places. I look forward to returning.
“Great Central Location”
We had stayed at another hotel in San Clemente the last couple of years for an event in Dana Point but service had been getting worse and worse. We decided we try a different hotel this year. We are so impressed with the Holiday Inn Express. It's closer to the event and 100 times better than the other hotel. We didn't want to leave, it was so comfortable! We'll definitely be coming back next year!

“Fanstastic choice, great room, service and bed!!”
The room was exactly like the photos. It was roomy, new and fresh smelling. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was a little wierd going thru the strip mall to get there and up a hill. Yes, it was close to the freeway, but it was no big deal. As far as the noise, I didnt hear any freeway traffic. I stay in CA alot and the freeway is actually a plus for me for easy access. The staff was helpful and courteous. Oh, the breakfast is not a continental breakfast. Hot eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, Starbucks coffee, It was the best choice for me and traveling alone, I felt safe and secure at all times. The restaurant recommended by the hotel, Bad To The Bone (which is in the strip mall) was really good food, good service and got a 10% off the bill. What a good stay.

This was a nice place...a bit awkward to get to, through a strip mall but convenient for my needs during this trip. I wish they allowed small pets.
