“Great place to stay with kids”

We had seen the pictures for the hotel and expected a nice place. The hotel actually exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff was very helpful and we actually received a room upgrade. We ended up in a king bedroom suite room on the 8th floor which gave us views of the Disney fireworks each evening. We had two young children which is why we initially booked at this hotel because we needed a place with a bedroom for them. The room was clean and bright. The counters are granite and include a bar sink, microwave and fridge. The bathroom is clean is quite large. The bed was fantastic. Linens were clean and "rich" looking. Kids slept like logs. Even with a kitchen table including four large chairs, the kids still had space to lay out on the floor and play. Carpets were clean so I had no issues with them doing this. The only downside was the sofa bed. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and very thin. Provided no comfort whatsoever. The hotel does not have cots but we were given a second mattress to put on top. The hotel provides a hot breakfast each morning. Above compare. There are custom eggs, oatmeal, cereal, pancakes, bacon, sausages, french toast, yogourt, fruit, juices, milk and coffee. We ate enough to last us until lunch. There is a shuttle bus that comes to the hotel every 20 minutes and drives to Disney property. This is Anaheim Resort Transit and is the way to go. The cost for us (2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant) was $10 for three days for as many trips as wanted.

“Worth Every Penny!!!”

Everything about this hotel was fantastic, but even if there were any issues, the Cooked to Order breakfast every morning would have made up for it.The staff was friendly especially about me bugging them every morning for access to my safety deposit box. The room was very clean as was the pool area. A family is lucky to stay in such a wonderful hotel.

“Unpretentious and Inviting”

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were on the last leg of a 3 week journey from Canada to Honolulu and then Australia. We finished our dream trip in Anaheim/Garden Grove. The shuttle picks you up at the front of the hotel at 20minute intervals. From there you can journey to Disneyland and California Adventure Park in 10 minutes. The staff at the hotel are extremely courteous and helpful. The room-sevice is very well priced. My 7 year old will tell you that the highlight of the hotel is the lion that they have residing on the cliffs of the rock display overlooking the bridge in the main foyer. Mr. Lion will ROAR every 30 minutes or so, to the delight of our daughter! The complimentary breakfast is fantastic and there's a manager's reception every evening at 5:30 where free beverages are enjoyed by hotel patrons. Yes, we could have paid more to stay somewhere else maybe somewhere ultra-luxurious but really there's something to be said for a hotel that can make you feel so appreciated and welcome! You simply can't put a price on that.

“Great place to stay”

We stayed in August 2005 and were extremely impressed with the cleanliness and the huge breakfast offered each morning. Great for someone travelling with a teenage boy! Pool is large, rooms average. Staff polite. One drawback, the hotel hosts gatherings on weekends and does not have a plan for where guests are to park when the parking lot is full. Very frustrating! Otherwise a very enjoyable stay! Would recommend.
