Our Anaheim Trip

Posted 27-Oct-2014
Pros: Rooms large. Excellent staff. Shuttle service good. Love the two room suites.
Cons: Noisy air conditioning. Central eating area needs massive upgrade - very uninviting and poorly lit, dated, old fashioned. Food quality strictly averag
Location: Disneyland - excellent. OutletsatOrange - best shopping! Knotts Berry Farm.
Very welcoming staff greeted us on arrival and are the main positive side of this hotel - nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms roomy and clean but a bit 'tired' looking. Main eating area is old fashioned, poorly lit and in need of an upgrade. Staff could not be faulted!

I enjoyed my stay.

Really enjoyed my stay. The little things make things better. There was a happy hour with free beer & wine. We weren't expecting that during our stay and we enjoyed it.

Disney experience

Posted 23-Oct-2014
Pros: location is good, heaps of eating options nearby, staff were awesome, and the drinks each night helped ease the pain of a long Disney day.
Cons: elevators are a little slow.
Location: everything Anaheim can offer - you must go to the Italian restaurant out front (Buca de Beppe) - fantastic food and prices
a 7 night stay for a family in a suite nearby Disneyland. The rooms were big and well appointed. Really good shower and apart from being a little dated this hotel met and exceeded all our needs. Breakfast was a little boring but reasonable choices overall. Early evening snacks and drinks provided were welcome. The transport to Disney was a shuttle that takes 5 minutes and quite reasonably priced. The staff at embassy were the highlight, you couldn't get a better bunch of people to assist. Nothing was too much and they offered huge amounts of good advice, especially how to get to local shops and restaurants. Best accommodation for families we had in a 7 week trip. We will stay here again in future years.

Room too dark and noisy at night. Waterfall too noisy, also breakfast setup of dragging tables at 4 and 5am too early.

Family friendly hotel

Posted 12-Oct-2014
Hotel is v family friendly. We stayed in a suite which was so convenient for us and our 2 kids. It has a very good breakfast, a happy hour for drinks and a snack in the evening which is very good. It also have laundry facility which we found to be so handy. Only -ve is the paid shuttle to Disneyland which we found to be over priced $7 per person per day. The shuttle should be a free service. Also the internet connection is so poor we couldn't use it at all. Having said that our overall all stay was v satisfactory

Disneyland Family Vacation

Posted 11-Oct-2014
Pros: Plenty of space, the microwave and refrigerator. The free breakfast buffet and manger's reception were both delicious and convenient.
Cons: The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable and could only be used as a sofa.
Location: Good location 15 minute shuttle ride from Disneyland. Target is across the street for getting sunscreen, etc.
I wanted to take my 16-year old son to Disneyland to meet up with my 24-year old daughter and 2-1/2 year old granddaughter. We needed a large enough room so the 4 of us would not get in each other's way and my son could stay in a separate room while the baby slept or played. The Embassy Suites room was perfect! I would definitely stay here again!

Convenient for the fzmily

Posted 26-Sep-2014
Pros: Breakfast and managers reception
Cons: Don't give families with children the wheelchair accessible rooms that have accessible showers.
Location: Disneyland!
It was nice to have the separate room because we were traveling with our 2 kids. Shuttle was easy to Disneyland but be aware you need to get in line for the shuttle in advance and the shuttle sometimes leaves earlier than scheduled. Breakfast was good. The hotel gave us a wheelchair accessible room and the shower made a big wet mess each time we used it since there was no tub or lip to catch the water - that is my biggest complaint. The laundry machine worked but steamed up the room so much it was unbearable to be in there. Needed to do laundry as we were on a multi-part vacation so I put up with it as best I could.
