Great hotel near Disneyland

Posted 24-Aug-2014
It was a great hotel, very clean and friendly staff. Only downside was a fee of $12 dollars to park your car there per day. Also the sofa bed was broken but was ok for the lighter family members

Disney fever

We frequently stay at embassy suites, this was our first stay at this location. It's pretty much on par with the rest of the chain of embassy suites. Two things that could be improved upon, stating that there is a parking fee. There's was no mention of paying for parking so it was a total surprise. Also at breakfast wasn't very organized . The lines could be more efficient . Other than that excellent stay, comfortable beds, excellent pool and lounge area. Restful sleep.

Another great Embassy Suites

Posted 14-Aug-2014
One of the better Embassy Suites we've stayed in. Love that it has accommodation for our family of 6, comfortably & nicely. This ES has a remarkable center atrium; our kids loved seeing the large goldfish from 6 floors up, then spying turtles up close & a lion (not real). The breakfast was amazing, great selection. I would only ask that there be more options for those with food allergies (gluten & dairy). Parking for $12 seems a bit high. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel: very clean, friendly, great breakfast, great location.

Very comfy room, great staff, fabulous breakfast! Happy hour was enjoyed a great deal by those in our group not spending the day at Disney.

Close to disney

Posted 3-Aug-2014
This hotel was nice, the breakfast was terrific with a large selection of items. The staff was very helpful and the cleaning staff was terrific. Beds were comfortable. They offer a shuttle to Disney but it is an extra charge and with a family of 5 it was cheaper to take our car and pay for parking at Disneyland. The only real complaint I have is about the elevators. They are Super slow!!! Plus there are only 4 for a 14 floor hotel. Which if it's full is not enough!!! Overall a great place to stay

Poor services

Posted 30-Jul-2014
Pros: All suite rooms.
Cons: Staffs at front desk should be friendly. What's happened with a welcome smile?
made a request to have sofa bed made thru expedia.com when booked this hotel . The morning of my reservation, I called the hotel directly at 8am, reminding them to have sofa bed made ready since we will be checking in late evening. I was told that they will make sure to do so. When checking in late evening, the male front desk was not friendly, he told me he will look into it. However, after 15 minutes wait , I had to call and ask them to make the sofa bed . A housekeeper came, made the sofa bed quickly and left. The blanket for the sofa bed was an old blanket, thin and has few holes . It was too late to ask for another one. Breakfast was ok. Food was ok. However, I saw only one staff cleaning the table and one collecting used dishes. Orange juice, apple juice were empty at the counter, I asked to have juice for the children , we were there for at least 35 minutes and no one comes to refill the juice containers. Table was not very cleaned. Oatmeal pot was opened and brown sugar mixed in with raisins all over the counter. It is a nice and very busy hotel but I was surprised not seeing enough supervisions of breakfast time.

A nice place to stay

Pros: You can go and come back on the shuttle as many times as you want for the day with a $5 ticket.
Cons: idk how they might improve the elevators but that needs to be fixed.
There isn't really anything wowing at this place, but it is a good deal for your money, the rooms are clean, and you get free breakfast. The staff are a tad curt for my taste but they were not rude. The elevators for some reason take forever even though there are 4 of them. Plan to wait at least 5min.

Great breakfast & good up too 6 people per suite.

Posted 27-Jul-2014
We checked in around 4pm 7/22 swiftly and when we got into the room the carpet at the suite have nail clippings & hairpins from the previous hotel guest. Called the from desk and a guy with a flat affect stated he will send the housekeeper to vaccumm the floor. The front desk man didn't even apologize for the mess in the room. The housekeeper came in after few minutes and did vaccum the floor. The part of wall paper on the bathroom was peeling, coffee marks on the wall on the dining area, and thinning sofa cover. Rooms need updates. The bed is good, pillows are ok. Breakfast is great, can have 6 people per suite but have to pay for parking and wifi every day.

Nice hotel. Easy access to Disney

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Wonderful stay after fiasco at check-in. Room was not ready and desk staff did not take initiative to communicate with housekeeping unless I prompted them by returning to the desk. Three hours after check-in time the manager took charge of the situation. She found a room that was ready (an upgrade) and gave that to us and comped the parking. That was the right thing to do. Guests should never need to wait three hours and certainly not be the lead in communication. I expect polite problem-solvers in the hospitality business. We all should.
