Lovely hotel for trip to disneyland

This is an excellent hotel in convenient location. We bought tickets from the shop in hotel lobby and got good advice on what to do at Disney and Adventure World. There is even a coffee shop in the lobby. Highly recommended.

Very nice time. If it weren't for the parking fee I would of rated it a 5 all the way around.

The beds were dipping

Posted 21-Jul-2014
The beds were dipping in the center and the pillows were weak! The bedroom or room was geared towards a single traveler, not a family.

Very nice hotel.

Pros: Rooms, supplies, fairly close to Disneyland. Staff are helpful and cheery.
Cons: Restaurant variation and less air conditioning. Also could be nice to have pool servie for snacks, drinks, etc.
Location: Quite close to Disleyland. Good for walkers, but too far for some. There is bus service though. Lots of chain restaurants such as Denny's and IHOP.
Nice hotel about 15 minute walk to Disneyland. Rooms very clean and well supplied with linens, towels, etc. Pool disappointing in small size and no service but kids 10 and 12 were just fine with it. Main dining room food very good but freezing air conditioning (like many other places) made the experience less than great. One other small cafe has bagels, fruit, etc. that is OK but overpriced and not much variation. Would be nice to have a restaurant for young families such as the Sheraton along the street.

Great hotel!

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: Everything, but the staff were great.
Cons: Perhaps a bit more choice on the evening menu in the restaurant.
Location: Disney is the main choice.
We had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday at this lovely hotel.(Tip 1-from LAX use the 405 south, 22 east and Harbor Blvd north for about 3 miles to get to the main Anaheim hotels.).We booked a 1 bed suite, which had plenty of space, comfortable beds plus a fridge and microwave.(Tip 2-if you want to see the fireworks, ask the hotel in advance and I'm sure they will do their best to help.We had a great view from the 7th floor).Excellent buffet breakfast hot or cold (14 dollars and 11 dollars-and there is also a Denny's across the road). At this time of year the pool is in the sun until about 5pm,although it can get a bit crowded in the evenings. All the staff were really friendly and a special thanks to Josh and Javier on the bell desk who booked some attractions for us and were really helpful.Parking is 16 dollars a day but that seems to be the going rate for the area.Free wi-fi in the rooms is great. Some hotels will charge for this. It's about a 20 minutes walk to Disney, which feels a lot longer at the end of a long day! (Tip 3-don't miss the World of Color show.Truly fantastic.Fastpass it early and get there an hour before it starts for the best views). We love LA,particularly the weather, and there are lots of hiden gems like the Getty Centre and Griffiths Park Observatory.(Tip 4-to get to the north LA attractions on weekdays you may need to allow up to 2 hours from Anaheim as the i5 traffic can be terrible). We would not hesitate to stop at this hotel again.Thank you all.

Vacation

Posted 15-Jul-2014
I switched hotels several times before we started the vacation. I finally found the one I wanted in Anaheim. Beautiful hotel, staff was excellent, very professional. Hotel restaurant has excellent food at a reasonable price. Kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. Had a shuttle that ran every 20 minutes to and from Disneyland. Only bad thing was paying $16 a day to park at the hotel.
