Took the fam up to Disneyland for a few days. This hotel is located very close to the park and isn't 800$ like grand Disney.

Nice hotel close to DL.

Room was comfortable & clean. Within walking distance to DL (15 minute walk). Staff friendly & always greeted us with a smile. Kids loved the cookies & always asked for them anytime we were passing by the desk.

Great family hotel close to Disney

Posted 10-Apr-2015
Pros: Excellent service, comfy and decent sized rooms, close to convention center and Disneyland so you don't have to pay for parking there.
Cons: Offer a free shuttle to Disneyland resort area.
Location: Close to Disneyland Resort, Gardenwalk and Convention center to walk. Also a few miles from the Outlets at Orange which you can drive to.
This was a GREAT experience for us at this Doubletree. We were in town for a cheer competition at the convention center and also as a family vacation to Disneyland. We stayed 5 nights. The room was good size and we have a family of 7 people. We chose the suite with 2 queen beds and sofa bed. Beds were all comfy, bathroom area was big and it had mirrored closets and drawers in each room. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND eating at their restaurant downstairs "Agio". Mario the waiter is SUPERB!!! He remembers you and your family, and provides excellent service. I honestly don't remember the last time I received such great service at a restaurant. It is a little pricey so if you are on a budget then this probably won't work. However, we were on a budget but decided to "splurge" a little by eating there just because of how nice and DELICIOUS the food is. They will accommodate ANYTHING for you, just ask. There is nice bar area also which parents can "wind down" in which was a plus. It was just a block down from the convention center so we walked to that each day we had to. For Disneyland they don't have a shuttle directly there though which is the ONLY downside to this hotel. You can take the ART for a fee each day but we just chose to walk. It honestly is not that far. One night we stayed at Disneyland until they closed at midnight, as we walked out towards Harbor there are a lot of taxi cabs that wait right there. We chose to take one and it only cost us $6 for that one time.

Nice hotel and convenient for Disneyland

Posted 1-Apr-2015
Pros: Cleanliness and Comfortable
Cons: The customer service and amenities were lacking. For the price you shouldn't have so many small fees for basic things.
Location: Great
The hotel was nice but they need to work on service and amentities.

Great hotel for visiting Disneyland

Posted 27-Mar-2015
Pros: Location, room size (suite) and quality Doubletree service.
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: Disneyland!
Four days, three nights. Purchased ART bus passes at hotel and used them to get to Disney and back. Younger folks might like the walk -- it's less than a mile -- but for grandparents with two preschoolers, the ART bus was perfect. We also enjoyed having the extra room that a suite affords. We dined at the hotel once for breakfast and once for dinner. Very pleased with food and service, and it didn't hurt that kids dined free!

Awesome hotel close to Disneyland.

A nice hotel in the area. Had a shuttle stop for Disneyland right out front. Allowed us to check in at 10 am when I was going to just ask them to hold my luggage. Very friendly and helpful.

Not free Breakfast

Posted 27-Mar-2015
We stayed here because it said free breakfast and we have 4 kids-- when we check in they said it was till 10am and saw my kids and didn't say a word. We assumed since it said free that we were covered. The next morning after we were done eating they said where is your voucher. I was like what voucher- I asked the front desk and they said if we book it thru them directly we get it free and not if we use another web site. Then they said it was 16 Bucks a person after we already ate. sucked!

A bit of a hike to Disney

Posted 27-Mar-2015
Cons: Next time I will look for a hotel that offers a breakfast, as this hotel did not.
A 25-minute walk to Disneyland, which was a little farther than anticipated from viewing the map. Booked a King suite, but only got a queen bed. Called the front desk to discuss and they insisted it was a king bed. Front desk also said others had noted the bed was smaller, but that it was just a small king bed, to which I replied "a small King is called a queen." My bed at home is a king so I know a king bed.
