“Great Experience!!!”
Staying at a Disneyland Resort is the best choice if you want to stay in the world of Disney after park hours if you know what I mean. I traveled with family, so staying at walking distance to the main entrances was a plus. Room was very comfortable and clean with park view from our window. People at reception was very friendly. Loved the pool. My stay was an unforgettable experience for me and my family as always has been.
“First time on property”
This was our first experience staying on property and we loved it! We had a great view of California Adventure Park. The customer service was excellent from the time we arrived and throughout our entire 5-night stay. The pool was great! Everything was convenient.
“Great Location and benefits for price”
Don't get me wrong, this isn't the Grand California Hotel, but it was great for the 4 of us. Very clean, fun, and overall nice. Location was great, could walk through Grand California right into California Adventure or out the back over to the monorail. Loved the fact that we had our own entrance into California Adventure from Grand. Went back to room some afternoons to let the kids swim, then hit the parks again hard. Beds were great and comfortable. Location and experience for the kids was great as well. Very happy with our stay, and would definiately do again. Elevators were an issue in the morning and evening - due to so many folks coming and going to the parks. If you are able, use the stairs during the peak times, you will save yourself time.
“Always a Pleasure”
Previously stayed at Paradise Pier and loved the ambiance so decided to give it another try. Amazed at the awesome view we got and like always helped enhance our Disney experience. Beds are extra comfy, staff is always helpful and ultra nice, and of course the hotel is a short walk to the park.
“Great Stay”
We had a great time at this hotel. Since we stayed at a Disney hotel we had access to the park an hour before the general public! Plus, I loved that we went right through Downtown Disney to get to the park entrances. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly!
“Best (and cheapest) Disneyland Resort Hotel for Adults w/ no kids”
Though as with the other Disneyland Hotels, it pales in comparison to WDW hotels in theming and overall Disney feel, my wife and I had a GREAT experience at the Paradise Pier. On first impression, I must admit I was a bit letdown. The lobby was somewhat plain and the exterior/lobby lacked the theming and detail I have come to expect from a Disney hotel (being a frequent WDW visitor I am a bit spoiled). The hotel was not originally a Disney hotel, so they have done the best they could with it though. After a quick and pleasant check in process (the cast member at the Front Desk was REALLY nice and accomodating)we headed to our room on the 10th floor. The room was quite nice. VERY large, even by Disney deluxe standards (in comparison...bigger than the Animal Kingdom Lodge at WDW). Our room had 2 queens and a couch/pull out bed. The decor is the room is very nice. Not overdone or tacky. Just the right blend of disney items (mickey lifeguard lamp was a nice touch) and soft, beachy colors. The lighting is also very soft and compliments the feel and colors of the room about as well as any hotel I have ever stayed at. All-in-all created a great, relaxing feel that was a welcomed break from the bright colors, loud noises and crowds found in Downtown Disney and the parks. The room and hotel were very clean and well maintained. Also, the rooms were very quiet at all times of the day. All things considered, it was a great experience.
“CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!!!!!”
VERY NICE WORTH THE BARGAIN.
“Great Experience”
The hotel was in the perfect location to easily get to both parks, this also made naptime for my children easy as we could quickly get back to the park(s) after. The breakfast with the characters was also great as it wasn't as busy as a location within the park. Minnie and others came over to our table to spend time with my kids. The staff was always willing to help out with requests and activity reservations, a friend of ours daughter has food allergies and the chef came out to talk to them and made her a special meal. It was awesome, I highly recommend the Paradise Pier for your next vacation.
“Stayed before...will stay again!”
Me and my family have stayed here before and always expect the best because we always receive the best service. The staff is genuinely nice. We had room service for breakfast and the employee who brought it up asked us how our trip was going and he had a huge smile on his smile. That counts for a lot, to feel like people are enjoying their job. The rooms are alays clean and the beds comfortable. We didn't pay extar for a room with a view, but ended up staying in a room on the 13th floor with a great view of the California Adventure Park anyways...free upgrades are always nice! There's a great atmosphere at this hotel and so there's nothing bad I can say about our experiences here at Paradise Pier hotel. Loved it!
“No one does it like Disney”
Usually we visit Disney World so on our trip to California in September we decided to stay at a Disneyland hotel. Upon check-in we were greeted by an extremely nice cast member named Dusty. She asked us if we were celebrating anything and since we were celebrating our anniversary she was able to find us a very nice room with a view of California Adventure park and in particular, the World of Color show. It was great to see it from the hotel and in the park. That's excellent customer service. We only ate a couple of meals in the hotel itself and had good experiences with those. You can enter the C.A. park through the Grand Californian and also pick up the monorail to Disneyland from Downtown Disney but the monorail times are irregular (infrequent), or at least they were when we tried to board it. You can walk through Downtown Disney to get to the entrances of both parks but you might be able to shave off a few steps by cutting through the Grand Californian. Overall the hotel was great, but there are some slight drawbacks. Staying on the upper floors means longer elevator wait times. Early in the morning (before park opening) it is probably faster to just take the stairs down if you can. In addition, there isn't an easy way to get your luggage from your car to your room unless you unload & load in front of the hotel. The parking garage is set up with stair wells so you have to drag your luggage down to the ground floor to get it over and into the hotel.
