“Very convenient and beautiful hotel”
Very convenient and beautiful hotel, walking distance to both parks. Overall great palce but Restaurants on the first floor acted as if they never had seen people who do not eat pork products. That was very troubling to seen Any food with bacon or had been difficult to substitute with out meat.
“Hotel is so comfortable that we spent more time here than the park”
We have very comfortable room even though it's a little aged. It's big enough and the balcony look down to the pools. The pools are life saver, we spent a few afternoon there and we all loved it. My son is on GFCF diet, the hotel staff provided a list of all restaurants that offers GFCF foods, which is extraordinary. We can order GFCF pancake and pasta from the hotel room. it's connected to all the shops of Disney downtown so it's very convenient to shop. Monorail is within 5 mins walk, which makes it super easy to go back and forth. We think it was a very smart choice for us to stay there with a 4 years old with special needs.
“We will definitely stay here again”
Even though the grounds were under construction, the hotel was clean and very accomodating. We can't wait to go back. We liked the closeness of Downtown Disney & the special entrance to California Adventure. We ate at the Storyteller's Cafe twice for breakfast. Very good & reasonably priced.
“Beautiful hotel in Disneyland”
The location of the hotel is the best, access to California Adventure and to Downtown Disney. We stayed in a standard rate room and had a tree view on the California Adventure side of the hotel. It was a relaxing view, a nice change from the busy park. Also, it was very private. Storyteller's Cafe character breakfast is great, the food, the ambience and the price is better than that of Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland hotel. When the heat got too hot, we'd come back to the hotel for a splash in the beautiful pools. You truly felt like you were at a resort.
“Loved It!”
The Grand Californian Hotel in Disneyland is wonderful. My family and I love staying in this hotel for the overall conditions and the convenient location to the parks. From the time you step foot into this fine establishment, you feel so good. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now, and if given the choice I would choose to stay no where else. I recommend that everyone, at least once, experience this fine establishment.
“Disneyland”
Great hotel, super friendly staff and very clean. Convenient access to CA Adventure and Downtown Disney.
“Can't wait to go back!”
This is the second time we have stayed here. I love this resort and the easy access to the park. It is great if you have kids because you can take a break in the middle of the day and just hang out by the pool and relax if you want. The first time I stayed I paid for a room with the view, but because you are never in the room it was a waste of money. This time I just did the standard view and it was just as nice overlooking a courtyard. Once you stay here you will never want to stay anywhere else!
“Location, Location, Location!”
If you have young children this is the place to stay. The location is perfect to run back to your room for a quick nap or if you have forgotten anything. As all parents know, this is very important. When we visit Disneyland or California Adventure we always stay here.
“Great Hotel”
According to my wife anytime we're going to Disneyland we're coming back and staying at this hotel. Make sure to go on a day when you can take advantage of early admission to the parks.
“Best Location, Wonderful Service”
Great location. Walking distance to everything. staff were wonderful.
