“Reasonable, clean and close to Disney parks”

Great hotel for families taking a trip to Disney. Disneyland is about 2 blocks away but an easy walk. Can't beat the free breakfast that runs from 7-10 am. Saves lots of money. Room was clean with microwave and fridge. Beds a little still but you can't beat the location and the price. Recommended!

“Nice stay”

This is not a fancy hotel, but was more than sufficient for our needs. It was within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) from Disney, as well as several restaurants. We made use of the outdoor pool (a novelty for 2 Canadians traveling in November), and even received a free upgrade to a suite with 2 queen beds and separate living room.

“very nice hotel”

It's located very close to Disneyland. I have a two year old and he walked the entire way. The staff was very helpful and the room was very clean. The breakfast was good. I would return to this hotel.

“Desert Palms Hotel & Suite”

Overall the hotel was satisfactory. The service, lobby, and late night parking attendants were nice but overall the hotel is strongly due for a remodel or refresh of the rooms. The beds were extremely spring and squeaky (though relatively comfortable), the couch in the room was equally old and out of date, and the fan/light combo in the bathroom was extremely noisy and distracting. We did however, enjoy how spacious the room was.

“Not impressed”

The only thing this hotel has going for it is it's proximity to Disneyland. It was too expensive for the room and amenities. Rooms are small and crowded.

“Good value”

3 blocks from the main gate was an easy walk. Free breakfast was nothing fancy but served its purpose for our family. We stayed in the kids suite and the bunk beds were great for our family of 5

“excellent choice”

After reading reviews I was a little hesitant but I am very happy that I stuck wiht my choice. We got the Sahara Suite. The seperate bedroom was perfect and since there is a 7_11 right next door the kitchen proved to be a great addition. The have fresh foods, not just 7-11 type. The staff was friendly and checked in to make sure we were happy. Breakfast was good. Pool is a little small but we didnt use it. Location is 15 minutes walking to Disney and very easy. Many restaurants right across the street. Convention center is an easy walk. I am rating this a 5 for top notch. I dont know of anything that they could have done to make it better, except for the loud bathroom fan it was a perfect room.
