“Nice stay~”
Everything is good, clean room and nice service~
“Ideal Location”
This motel suits us perfectly in dealing with a local business that we have. We visit about once a year and we are only a mile away from our business location. There is no other motel closer. Nearby restaurants, CVS drug store and other stores are perfectly located for odds and ends we need when we visit. Room was neat - separate bedroom from living area, and TVs in both rooms. Couldn't ask for anything better. Although the I-405 is right next to this motel, the motel has taken great lengths to minimize traffic noise such that traffic noise did not bother me at all. 3rd floor with lots of luggage? Not a problem - the elevator makes it easy. Continental breakfast real nice with juice, waffles, cereal and sweet rolls. USA Today newspaper also nice to have, as well as the TV in the breakfast room. Have stayed there several times and will stay there again, based on positive past experiences.
“Huntington Beach's best kept secret, Great Deal!”
Would definitely stay here again. Shared the room with 3 teenage boys and it never seemed cramped or uncomfortable. Breakfast was ample with fresh belgium waffles, fruit - real fruit juice and an assortment of pastries. The pool area and hot tub were very clean and refreshing after a day at the beach. Many days the boys decided to stay at the hotel because the sun was shining at the hotel and it was overcast at the beach. It is a very safe neighbourhood with a great shopping complex within walking distance. The mini golf / amusement park next door was an added bonus. Couldn't ask for nicer staff - very helpful and accommodating.
“Impressed”
For the price that was paid I was very satisfied. For my needs it was very good. Since we just at the Hotel to rest and shower it was convenient for us because it was located near our main venue. Neighborhood was great as it was walking distance to stores.
“Santa Ana May 2012 Tam Thoi He Niem”
Very convenient, and inexpensive for my trip back and forth from the hotel to my meeting place,Saigon Plaza, at corner of Brookshurst and Edinger. I made only right turns on my trip .The disappointing point was the breakfast was not very tasty .
“Very Good Value - 5 miles to Huntington Beach”
Pleasant surprise. I was attending a convention at a very expensive hotel in Huntington Beach and this saved me over $150 a night. Nothing fancy but clean and well-enough appointed.
“Godd value for price paid”
We just needed a hotel for one night. It was a good value for what we paid for the room. If you have kids, there is a small amusement park with an arcade, go-carts, mini-golf, etc. that you can walk to. It is also located right off the 405 freeway. We stayed in a room right next to the freeway, but unlike some of the other reviewers, we did not think the sound was loud at all. Front desk was very friendly. Nothing fancy, but above what I would expect for the price I paid. My only complaint was that I was supposed to have a non-smoking room, and someone had obviously smoked in the room prior to our arrival.
“Not fancy, but good for the price.”
I was in town to run a marathon, hotel was about 4 miles away and priced well. The manager was friendly and allowed me a late check out so I could shower after the race. Our room did overlook the 405 freeway, but it became like white noise after awhile and we slept fine, Light sleepers might want to request one of the rooms that isn't right on the freeway. Location is within 5 miles of the beach and downtown Huntington Beach, but far enough to still have an inexpensive price.
“definitely come back if i travel again, great experience”
i would recommend this place to anyone who loves asian cuisine and also this place is very convenient. it's only 40 mins from LAX and all the big cities around.
“In Process”
This hotel is under new management and is being resurrected into a Days Inn quality hotel, and there are problems during this transition time. When I arrived to check in, my room wasn't ready. When I went to see where the staff were in the cleaning process, I found a man on the floor using a screwdriver on something (I couldn't see what), the couch was overturned, and the room reeked of a horrible smell that would knock a person dead after a few minutes! The desk offered a different room apologizing for the problem. Everything was fine until I came home that night at 10:30 pm and found that the air conditioner/heater was not working. I called the front desk and reported it. The manager came to look at it, but was not an electrician and couldn't diagnose or fix the problem. He offered a change of rooms, but I declined as it was late and I was not feeling well. He promised a maintenance man would come the next day after I left for the day and fix the problem. When I returned that afternoon,it still didn't work. The desk people offered a room change, but I was tired and was going to ckeck out the next morning, so I declined.Since they kept offering and I kept declining, I do not blame the management at all. The staff there are actually wonderful! They were very helpful and accomadating, and tried their best to put me in a room without air problems and make me as comfortable as possible. As a single woman there, I felt very safe.
