“Warm pool and hot hot tub.”
We visited when it was cold and rainy. The children visited the marina, and then swam in the warm pool and warmed up even further in the hot tub while it rained. They had a blast. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom did have a bit of a sewer smell, but other than that all was clean and warm and comfy.

Hotel is within walking distance to quality restaurants even for a handicap person. Room was clean bed was comfortable. We would book this hotel again.
“Relaxing Getaway!”
We had a "girls' getaway' to Dana Point and the Dana Point Marina Inn served our purposes well! Even with four gals in the room it was still comfortable! The front desk clerk was friendly, the common area clean, the pool was sparkling, and the breakfast was just enough to get us through to lunch. The Dana Point Marina Inn is within walking distance to all kinds of quaint shops, restaurants, and overlooks the picturesque marina. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday so it wasn't crowded at all. We have stayed here many times over the years and haven't been disappointed. If you have $$$$ to spend and need pampering and fancy stuff, then stay somewhere else. We gals will keep coming back to the Dana point Marina Inn as it has been consistent for so many years and the price was just right!
“Great accommodations at a fair price”
Dana Point Marina Inn has an excellent location. I was able to provide my nephew with a nice place to stay while he was in town. The maid service was excellent. He liked having access to washers and dryers and a decent selection of vending machine treats. The gentlemen who helped us check in and out were very nice and helpful. I'd recommend the Dana Point Marina Inn to anyone looking for a modest, clean place to stay at a reasonable price.

It was a nice place at a reasonable price compared to others in the area. I would stay again. Everyone I talked to was very helpful and prompt in service.
“Great hotel for the price”
The location is great with many restaurants within walking distance. Right on the marina with shops, etc.... There was a full refrig in the room, stove, etc.. although we didn't need it. Overall very satisfied, especially for the price. Great value.
“Very much needed California Rocks”
Our hotel up -graded or rooms ...wonderful.....great views....Nice weather....smiling workers....never a bad moment in such a wonderful spot.....the rooms were clean and the breakfast was okay.......I would go back and stay in the same hotel and hopefully the same room.....this trip was very much needed....So thanks Expedia for such a great time........................
“Great location and price”
This is definitely not a new hotel, but is well kept and clean. I stayed on the bluff before, and it was new and nice. But the location here is better and I had a balcony and a larger room for a lower price. I think it is a great place to stay.

very nice place. good staff and very helpful. hotel is clean and next to restuarant row. free outdoor parking. perfect location. walk everywhere ! free breakfast. good clean pool area.
“Great location”
I've been staying in this hotel for the last thirty years and continue to be pleased with the facility. I park my car and don't return back to the vehicle until the end of my stay. Great restaurants, shopping, beach, and relaxation within steps of the hotel.
