“Fun Time in Laguna Beach”
We stayed for two nights and the hotel was great! Breakfast in the morning complimentary was very convenient for our group of 8. The beach is right across the street and the hotel is spotless!
“"A great hotel ... an even better value"”
We had a delightful 4 day/3 night stay. The location is perfect. The complimetary breakfest was very good ... The entire place is very (very) clean and well maintained. Beach access right accross the road. Great dining right next door. Walking distance to all of the shops and hot dining spots. The staff was very nice. FREE Parking was 'on site' in the downstairs parking garage. We've stayed at all of the flashy hotels in Laguna over the years, but personally, we enjoyed the simplicity of this place better... and who can argue with the value. We'll definately go back ... ask for a room with a view of the ocean, and all of the rooms have very nice (huge) whirlpool tubs and most have private balconies (a big ++).
“A piece of Paradise”
What a great hotel, what a nice location.It was a couple miles from dowtown Laguna,but that's what made it so nice. Mozambique next door, had fantastic food. Great steak and curry.Sitting on the balcony 3rd floor, could see the ocean, nice sunset. Comfortable bed and very nice jaccuzi tub. Will definately be back again.
“Comfortable and clean”
The room was very clean and comfortable, and I had no trouble getting a good night's sleep. The location across from the beach was ideal. I was within walking distance of great restaurants and nice shops. The breakfast provided was great, especially the waffles! I would stay here again!
“Great Hotel, Great location very good service”
We liked this hotel. It was what we expected. Resturants close by, across the street from the beach access. The free shuttles were great. We went everywhere for free. The bed was very comfortable. We didn't stay in the room much, just to sleep. There is too much to do to be in the room. I do recommend this hotel.
“Great Hotel!”
This hotel was perfectly located in Laguna Beach, with free parking and breakfast! The beach is right across the street, and it is beautiful. We would definitely stay there again. The whirlpool spa was awesome.
“Great Hotel will be back”
My wife and myself stayed at the Laguna Brisas and we stayed at four other hotels on this trip this was far and away the best. The front desk was very friendly. We stayed in a room on the secon floor and could see the ocean. Although it was between two buildings. We set on our balcony and whatched boats go by. The room had a grwat spa tub in it and a nice big plasma TV. We could walk across the street to the beach.We were only about a mile from the heart of town but there were a lot of little shops near by. There was a very nice Italian resturant just two blocks away and Right across the street a resturant called splash that was outstanding and had a ocean view. Great parking had a refrigerator and coffee make in the room and free continintal breakfast came with the room. One down side thou was the noise up until about 10pm on the coast hwy but after that it was quite.We would stay again for sure
“Worth it!”
All as expected for the price, and then some!! The only drawback is if you have a room facing the ocean, which is also the street (PCH), it gets noisy early in the morning for those late risers!!
“Wish we could have stayed longer!”
This hotel was lovely. We loved the rooftop lounging area with a view of the ocean. Rooms and hallways were clean and the staff at the front desk were always helpful. We were there with our 2 teenagers and the clear door to the shower/whirlpool tub limited use of the rest of the bathroom if one was taking a shower. But that is the only drawback. Note - they advertise 99 steps to the beach...my son counted and he couldn't make it to the beach in 99 steps. But it is in easy walking distance. I would gladly go back!
“Great hotel; lousy/crappy free breakfast”
The hotel was wonderful, and just a short walk from the beach, and an easy walk to downtown shopping. The breakfast, however, was really crappy...just cereal, crappy bread and bagels - no real food to eat. There were tiny, way overcooked hardboiled eggs and a few yogurts - yick! I suggest that the hotel not even bother to advertise that it offers a free breakfast unless it upgrades drastically. My room with kind bed (425) was absolutely wonderful, with two minor exceptions: 1. Not enough plugs by the bed - I had to unplug the clock-radio to plug in my laptop to use it in bed by the light. 2. I had to crawl under the desk/table to adjust the temperature on the heater/air conditioner. I banged my head. That's just stupid when the hotel could just install a wall thermostat, instead of what it has now, a mere on/off switch. One other thing that was odd. I used the ironing boad/iron and the maid didn't put them away. I didn't know why it wasn't put away. Everything else was great. There is a free parking lot adjacent/under the hotel, the room was lovely, the location was great, etc etc. There are at least three good restaurants just south of the hotel, and downtown is to the north, an easy walk away.
