I enjoyed my stay. Quiet and relaxing. I’ve stayed here before and it was nice coming back to see all of the improvements and renovations. Friendly and easy to book after another hotel cancel our hotel room last minute!

Great views from the room which was very roomy. Just wish the bathroom was larger, but overall, enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was definitely a hit too.

Although we didn't request one, we got an "accessible room." The walk-in shower did not have proper draining, and the water pooled in the middle of the bathroom instead of going down the drain. There were also no shelves in the shower to put your soap or shampoo. The room had no carpeting (tile floor?), and it was quite cold during January. Great access to beach, and the continental breakfast was fairly nice. Overall, not bad for a one-night stay, but I wouldn't stay there for very long.

The room was updated asthetically and looked nice, had a really nice mirror with LED lighting, gorgeous sunset/ocean views, nice outdoor areas. Toilet was not secure to the floor and rocked when in use, floor was very dirty, not visibly, but if I did not wear flip flops or socks my feet were filthy. No insulation for noise reduction from upstairs room, or water usage. Very loud when other unit(s) using the water which made it hard to sleep sometimes.

This is a nice place to stay. The beds were extremely comfortable. The ocean view was lovely. I had a nice run to the beach from the hotel. Very easy to access. The neighbors above is were noisy at all hours. The internet was intermittent too which is frustrating. I’m not in love with the parking situation there. If you have a taller vehicle (like us) pray you get a space near the entrance!

My sisters and I enjoyed our stay here. The beach is across the road. The view from the deck is nice and traffic calms after 7 pm. The property is dated and the bathroom needs some updating. That's why I gave it a 4. The staff is so helpful and perfectly suited for their jobs. Overall, it served our needs well. Jaw dropping sunsets here!!!

Good deal for the money
The room was basic but as expected. Very nice view of the ocean and sunset, but the PCH and the Pacific Surfliner train are right outside the window as well. In the daytime there is a lot of traffic noise, but it wasn't bad at night. A few trains went by - no horn noise at least. The people at the front desk were very pleasant and accommodating. The bathroom was the tiniest I have ever seen. Smaller than a stall of a public restroom, and more like a restroom on an airplane.

Hotel staff was very helpful and responsive. The room was clean and large! The area is quiet- we had the king ocean view so right on the street but no street noise to disturb our sleep. Thanks for a nice stay!

first room 304 had a bad smell , they change me to another room but they charge more , insect coming out off the drain inside shower tub, paint peeling off the wall and ceiling, bathroom door not easy to close , wholes inside the bathroom, mattress was squeaking when you turn around on the bed, could not sleep all night.

our TV didn’t work. they spent about an hour and a half in our room, wasted time for us. would’ve thought we’d get a discount or something for the inconvenience- nothing. sink also didn’t drain properly- or at all. nice staff, but expected more out of facilities as well as something to make up for the inconvenience.

Nice hotel for the budget. Room was quiet and clean and 2nd floor patio has nice view of the ocean. Free breakfast offered alot of food options.

The staff was so nice, but the property itself was in terrible disarray and unsafe conditions such as uneven steps and tiling and paint completely chipped and wearing off on beams that were visible. Caution tape on stairs and in general disrepair. Really needs upkeep and repair. Was somewhat unsafe for my children.

Disappointing Stay
Definitely disappointed in a few specific things. The room had a very strong mildew odor which made my head and throat hurt. Walking around in socks or bare feet resulted in the bottoms of our feet/socks becoming really dirty, showing that the floor really wasn’t clean. The mattress was ok but saggy and squeaky. And the thermostat was pretty difficult to use. On the positive side, the price was good during the off season, staff was very helpful and kind and the breakfast was pretty good. We were definitely satisfied with those items but we won’t be staying there again.

Just wonderful!!
We had an amazing stay. The room was immaculately clean. Looked like it was just redone with fresh everything. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and even upgraded our room to an ocean view at no cost to us. The included breakfast was adequate like most hotel breakfast items I’ve seen at previous breakfast included hotels. We were able to cross over a bridge and be right on the beach within minutes. Free parking and easy access to PCH highway. Overall was great and I’d so stay here again when visiting. A+ for friendly staff. 👍😊

Room was spacious enough with high ceiling & a partial view. But the molding of the door itself was coming off. Staff super helpful. Breakfast ok. No phone in the room. The containers for the shampoo, conditioner & shower gel are to small & very difficult for anything to be squeezed out! Had to go a few steps to have something to eat, which was convenient enough.

Location good. Mexican restaurant walking distance was good. Beach accross the street. Room ok, building is run down. Hotel parking too tight. Hotel breakfast eggs had black color, sausage under cooked.

Loved our stay right across from the ocean. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast was real good and the waffles were delicious ! No hot water though for shower and touch down on elevator was a little rough but we braced ourselves. We love trains so enjoyed it everytime one passed. Yes, I would stay here again.
