“Great location”

Great location, directly across the street from the beach and just a few blocks from Main street. Rooms decor is out of date, but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

“Good Location”

Stay was okay, but the staff wasn't very helpful with technology and transportation needs. I had a boarding pass on a thumb drive and he wouldn't assist with printing the pass because of lack of knowledge. When I asked for assistance with a taxi, I was given a phone number which wasn't valid. No offer to call a cab for me was made.

“Best location in Huntington Beach”

Great location for beach and downtown Huntington Beach for food and entertainment. What a surprise the 4th of July parade started right outside the hotel, brilliant!!!. Hotel staff wont put up with any load noise or parties so a quiet night sleep. The breakfast was em! intresting a few small muffins on a tray? maybe we were late and thats all they had left. Staff were great and free parking was a bonus. Overall a great place to stay and will go back there for sure. Stayed from 3rd July till 5th July 2007

“Great Location”

In the heart of "Surf City - USA" We loved it. My wife and live in Texas but we both grew up in HB and came to visit family for Thanksgiving. Staying at this hotel on the beach was fantastic. The Tuesday night street party on Main Street was memorable. Hotel staff was cordial, parking was on-site and free. We had a front room on the first floor with a nice balcony. We will consider returning to this fine hotel again.,

If you want people to do surveys they must be short and not have reuirements like this. I will not do another because of this.

“Killer location.”

The location is killer... just 3 blocks from the pier. Rooms were very clean... the hot tub wasn't working at the time. The staff is mostly foreigners... which is fine but the quality of the their friendliness is just OK. They don't 'welcome' you or smile. But for the price and location... it's perfect.

“At least it's a good location...”

We had a late arrival and it seemed as though we were more a burden than guest. Staff was quite unfriendly, but the hotel and the room was decent and it is in a good location so that helps.

“Basic hotel alittle outdated but in good area”

Lift was out of order monday to Friday so made it very awkward, towels old and thin. No such thing as "do not disturb", the housekeepers comes in daily wether you like it or not. TV old and reception not good. On the plus side, close to everything, reasonably priced compared to other hotels in area, though pricey for the age if motel and the furnishings are outdated. We would stay there again though.

“need new towels!!!”

Please up grade the bathroom lines, the towels were small, dingy, scratchy and thin. Not at all the usual standard on a Best Western member.

“No Visitors Please!”

Please beware about this hotel! I met a few friends that lived in the area at a local restaurant. We had a few drinks so I asked them to come back to my room for a little while to sober up. Within 5 minutes of entering the room the front desk calls to remind me that no visitors are allowed and my guests will have to leave. I tell the front desk that they are sobering up and will leave in an hour or so. The front desk then said if they don't leave now she will call the police. Since I knew we were being quite and not bothering anyone I told the front desk to call the police if you have to but my guests will leave when they are ready. The police were never called...
