The cookies on the counter were a very nice touch.....and yummy!! The room was great, especially with the coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator! The handicapped shower was roomy If you are in a wheelchair, request a king bed instead of two queens because it would be hard to get around the beds in a wheelchair. There wasn't much room between and beside them. The breakfasts and happy hours were quite enjoyable!

“Stay here if you want to be happy”

We spent the week through the New Year at AYRES LAGUNA WOODS with a sperate room for our daughter and husband, and we were all very happy with all aspects of this small hotel. Since we live in Chicago we weren't aware of the AYRES chain, and were so happy with the wonderful breakfast, extremely cleanliness of the entire hotel, and friendly and helpful staff including the Hotel Manager. Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi was clean and great! The evening reception was very nice as well. Charming place with fireplace in the lobby and beautiful artwork on the walls. WE all give this place 10 stars. Great value.

“Best choice for the price near Laguna Beach”

Centrally located in the south orange county area. Minutes to Laguna Beach. The Hotel is first class throughout. The room was partially divied between the two very comfortable queen beds. The bath had a good sized jacuzzi tub. A great buffet style Breakfast was included and had something for everyone in our party. Overall it was excellent for our family.

Very clean attractive rooms. Reasonable price for the area. Very close to shopping and dining, and about 15 minutes from the coast.

“Fantastic and affordable hotel!”

My family needed a place to stay for one night following a wedding in Laguna Beach. I found this hotel through Expedia and was impressed with the great reviews it received. The two and half star rating simply does not do it justice. This was a great hotel with the look and feel of many (far more expensive) four star hotels, including freshly baked cookies in the lobby as we checked in. The included breakfast was fantastic -- far better than most. The hotel also had a decent pool and, had we stayed longer, I'm sure we would have enjoyed it. All in all, a great stay.

This hotel is wonderful. European style, beautiful rooms, Hot Tub (Wonderful!!!) very roomy. Seperate living, fridge, microwave, coffee pot etc... Great Breakfast,Free!

“First Class, Well Managed Hotel”

Our 2 night stay at this hotel was terrific. Friendly and helpful staff. A well appointed and very spacious room. Beautiful lobby. Large and attractive breakfast area with some food made to order. It does make you feel like you're in a European boutique hotel. The hotel is part of a shopping mall complex so you have to look for it since it's not directly on the street. The good news is you don't hear the non-stop street traffic. The hotel is not near the beach area. But, we if you don't mind a 20 drive to get to the Pacific Coast Highway it's well worth it. Hotels on the Pacific Coast Highway are expensive and if they are directly on the road, very noisy. Highly recommend this hotel.

“Had high expectations..., was not dissapointed!”

After having a wonderful stay a month earlier at their Costa Mesa location, I wanted to be closer to the southern beaches, so I selected this hotel. Large room, great service, complete breakfast; good location; what a value! I felt like I was on vacation instead of a business trip.
