“Would love to stay again”
Everything was better than expected for this reasonably priced hotel. The lobby had such a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was beautiful. We were especially surprised at the great breakfast included in the room price.
“Great Place To Stay”
We were attending a soccer tournament for my daughter and my family along with her coach stayed at this hotel. This was our first time staying at a Ayres property and I must say this place was great. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, it kept us from having to pickup do this hotel justice. You will love this hotel from the European desing to the comfortable beds. If you're ever in the area be sure to stay here.
“Even better than I expected!!!”
This was a very lovely hotel. The bed was very comfortable!! The staff was friendly and gave great suggestions for local activities/restaurants. I will definitely return. PS. The chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch for my late night return. Yum!!!
“Don't miss this hotel experience”
The hotel was impressive from the start. The parking lot was clean, security lights were working, and the front desk personnel presented a warm, professional welcome. The overall ambiance was one of liveable luxury: the furniture and decor were sophisticated and useable. The bedrooms were nicely appointed, clean, well-arranged and oh! so comfortable! I could have lived in that room for weeks. The room overlooked the charming French fountain area which provided multiple opportunities to watch hummingbirds gently bathe in the water spray. The breakfast selections offered something for everyone (fruit, yogurt, waffles, eggs, etc.). The large hot tub was clean and hot. You could easily visit with people or relish your privacy. The location was perfect -- common stores (e.g., pharmacy, gas station) could easily be found and the traffic was well controlled. I would go back to the Laguna Woods area just to stay at the Ayres Hotel !
“Pleasant Place to Stay”
Despite the fact that we were in Laguna Hills for a funeral, the stay at the hotel was most pleasant. There was a very nice breakfast and a happy hour in the most comfortable hotel lobby. It was well situated for our visit... though it rained the whole time we were there. That is not supposed to happen in Southern California! The staff was excellent and most helpful.
“Deserves more than 2 1/2 stars”
We arrived at the Ayres hotel expecting an average hotel but what we got was a very comfortable, clean, esthetically pleasing hotel. It was a great value, even on Memorial Day weekend. The breakfast was great. We'll definitely be back.
“A great hotel for business or leisure”
I booked three rooms for a busienss trip. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The price was right with an extra discount available through Expedia. The location was perfect, not too far from Laguna Beach.
“Beyond expectation.”
Lovely surprise, from the general appearance (better than photos), to the staff, including exceptional housekeeping, to the free "full breakfast" that was better than quite a few places I can think of. We actually chose the hotel because it was one of the more affordable options, as it was a family visit rather than a romantic getaway; but it was a great find.

Rooms are comfortable and very quiet. Good location to major highways but still in a quiet location.

Very clean room, confortable beds, friendly staff, great complementary breakfast, will come back any time.
