“Great for All”
I was there with my 6-year old daughter and we had a great time... We really enjoyed the cookies in the evening!
“Great boutique hotel near Old Market area”
Great boutique hotel just a couple blocks from Old Market area. Friendly, attentive staff. Comfortable rooms that combine contemporary finishes in traditional room. Nice touches, like cookies & milk in evening and anytime courtesy shuttle that'll take you (or pick you up) from any downtown area location, including Creighton University. Delicious breakfast buffet that varies each day. Parking is valet only, although there are garages nearby. Valet parking is worth the extra cost/day to have car nearby and in a gated lot. Good walking paths toward the river, including suspension pedestrian bridge about 1 mile away.
“Great Time at the Magnolia”
I had a very enjoyable time at the Magnolia Hotel. Staff was very courteous and prompt. Room was clean and very nice. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. Complementary shuttle was a definite plus. Would stay again.
“I would stay there again”
This is a great place to stay in downtown Omaha. It is a beautifully restored historic hotel. They offer an hourly compllimentary cocktail hour each evening, cookies, and an excellent breakfast buffet. It is a block away from the Orpheum, and near Old Market. The price was very reasonable for this area of town. Unlike many high end hotels, internet is available at no additional cost.
“In Omaha to visit family”
Loved the hotel, loved the service! Friendliest staff around, I would recommend them to anyone.
“Superb!”
What a great hotel in a beautiful older building! Great location! Great Great Great Staff!!! They were all extremely pleasant, informative and fun! Huge KUDOS to the Valet/Shuttle Drivers - they were excellent!!! I have a 10' Rule-of-Pleasantries, meaning, if you are within 10' of someone, you make eye contact and greet them with pleasantries - ALL the staff recieves 5 Stars from me!! Inside joke - if you may need a bandaid, you can get one from the front desk, but make sure you let the person know who is getting it for you to NOT open the bottom right drawer ALL the way or it may get stuck open!!! OMG!!!! The two staff members handled the 'situation' gracefully :) I recommend this hotel!!! Beautiful place for any special event, too! Absolutley perfect for a Wedding! There was one going on while we were there and it looked beautiful!!!
“A real Gem in Omaha”
The hotel was fantastic. The attention to detail and client comfort was beyond expectation. Happy Hour before dinner, Cookies and Milk before bed, and Breakfast to start the day... who could ask for more
“Excellent Stay, will go back soon!”
Excellent stay! We could have not asked for a better hotel. The hotel has been recently renovated, it looks very elegant and modern. The bathroom is beautiful. The staff is excellent, they came to my husband while he was at the library (were the computers are) and my daughter was running around bored, and they offered her whatever she wanted. She wanted some juice and they promptly brought her a cup with orange juice and gave my husband time to complete whatever he was doing. He left the room really happy. Check out their packages too. They have a couple that include the room and transportation in a Denali (SUV) to a couple of restaurants (an Italian and a Steakhouse both really good). The cookies and milk at night plus the breakfast bar in the morning are a plus. You might think it's small, but it's really enough. Overall an excellent stay. It's about 2-3 blocks from the Old Market where all the restaurants and town shops are. Parking is limited, probably 8 to 10 spots in front of the hotel, but they have Valet service.
“Best Sleep Ever!”
This hotel was beautiful! Staff was very friendly. Great old building in the heart of downtown with georgeous rooms and the most comfortable bed and bedding ever! When I stayed there in October 2009 a very nice hot breakfast buffet was included. Highly recommend a stay here when you're in Omaha
“Very charming”
Love the charming old building with modern decor. Service was excellent. Very quiet location. Shuttle extremely convenient. Walking distance to the Old Market a plus. Breakfast had a wide variety to choose from. Didn't have a chance to take advantage of happy hour or cookies before bed, but nice touch!
