“Candlelit Night at the Candlewood”

I was coming to town very last minute and went to Expedia to see if there were any reasonable rates on hotels. I had originally put in all of my information to stay at a Super 8 but by the time I went to reserve it, the rooms were gone. So I searched a bit more and came across Candlewood Suites. I didn't know the vicinity that well but thought I would give this hotel a shot. I'm so glad I did! I arrived 2 hours early and was able to check in and get into my room! I absolutely loved the homey feeling my room offered. The little kitchenette/refrigerator/bed were amazing. I loved the idea that everything I needed was in my room. If I ever have to stay in the Omaha area for an extended period of time I will definitely go back to Candlewood Suites!

“Will go to this one again!”

We arrived at the hotel and it was very clean. The road to the motel was less to be desired do to the pot holes in Omaha. The receptionist was very helpful and the motel room was more then what we were expecting. The food pantry was something I had never seen before but seemed to be stocked - except for milk. The list they had for places to deliver food was out of date - but after 3 or 4 calls we finally found a place that was able to deliver. We slept real well - the bathroom door seemed to be a small inconvenience. One would think they would have made it swing out not in. Made it a little hard to get around in the bathroom. The large refrigerator was nice - I could see myself staying there for a longer staythen one night due to the stocked kitchen supplies. Overall will definitly stay there above other hotels I have stayed in at Omaha. Price was great for what you got in the room - would have paided double anywhere else.

“exceeded expectations”

Our stay at the Omaha Candlewood was excellent. It is a little hard to find in the middle of the night but quiet with great staff and services. It exceeded our expectations and I would stay there again in a heart beat. If I could change anything there, it would be to have the smokers move away from the entrance and exits to take their smoke breaks.

“Better beds”

Great overall amenities for an extended stay hotel but the most important thing - compared to the other big extended stay hotel chain - is they have better beds and bedding. Very comfy. The single most important overlooked amenity is the bed for me.

“Solid Value”

Solid value hotel. They have a honor system store for incidentals and groceries which is very convenient. Not within walking distance of a restuarant.

“Everything needed was there except the 2nd bed”

Great hotel except they are all single bed rooms. Roll-away bed not exactly the msot confortable.

“Nice room”

Good price, friendly staff, clean room. Amenities were a nice touch. Would stay there again.

“Nice folks in Omaha.”

The staff was absolutely wonderful. One of the staff let me borrow her own phone charger as I had left mine at home. They were helpful in providing directions to the local FedEx store and with general directions.

“Hard to find, but worth finding”

I was very happy with room overall. Only two complaints I had were location of hotel and smoking room smelled like an ashtray. I am a light smoker and the smell was overpowering. I would stay there again, but will go with no smoking next time. I also wanted to mention there is a lot of open area and park facilities right outside the exits.

“Satisfactory”

Daily room cleaning not available. Office staff is limited. Access to the location is very difficult. The room itself was fine with nice amenities (kitchen, frig, etc)
