“One of the best hotel stays I have ever had”
The Governor Hotel was well maintained and the staff was extreamly responsive and able to direct us to locations that we wanted to visit even providing a map to the locations as well as up dates of the changes in the roadway that was not noted on the map. The room was extreamly confortable and provided internet access which was helpful. The one amenity that I found in the room which I have not found in any hotel room that I have ever stayed at was a safe for my valuables
“Nice hotel in good location.”
Despite it's age, hotel was nice; clean and comfy. The breakfast buffet was also good -- nice to have hot food and in a restaurant atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel to others staying in Olympia.

“Enjoyable”
Very friendly staff. They were helpful in that there were a number in our group, so gave us rooms in close togather, onthe same floor. If we are in need again of a hotel, or need to recommend one, we will be sure to ask them to use the Governor House. They also had a very good breakfast! Thank you,

I found the Govener Hotel in Olympia, Washington to be a very friendly, clean, and classy place to stay. It's location in the downtown area made it easy to check out restaurants & shops all within walking distance. You have a beautiful of the area out any of the windows. I plan on staying there in the future.

Absolutely perfect! Affordable and clean. Couldn't ask for a better stay!
“A bit old, but clean, safe, great location”
Sure, the Govenor is due for a facelift, but the rooms are clean, safe, well appointed and quite a bargain. There is a park view from the front; the lake (and Capitol dome) from the back. The furniture is tasteful, the rooms are quiet, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and charming. In fact, they were warm and gracious, too. I'll be staying there again.
“Nice to Stay”
This hotel was clean with friendly helpful staff. The bathroom sink and tub were a bit out dated but it was very clean. There is a free hot breakfast included in your stay costs. There is an assortment of eggs, sausage, oatmeal, bagels, pastries, coffee, juice. It is delicious. There is also free high speed internet access in the room and a computer in the lobby if you don't have a laptop. Parking is free included in your stay. I would stay again.

Great location, good service
“Best in Olympia”
The Governor is centrally located in Olympia's downtown region, close to all the shops and restaurants of the city. Having lived in Olympia for a number of years, I knew that this was the perfect location for accessing all points of this small city. The hotel is clean, the staff is very nice, and while it is a little old, like having an ethernet cable rather than wireless and a pretty old tv, the hotel served all my needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to call home while they're in Olympia.
