“Very impressed!”
The hotel was much better than I expected. Great room and bathroom, nice, english decor and relaxing, family atmosphere!I would reccomnend this to anyone provided you don't mind taking a train from Manchester(victoria stn) to go ther(just a 10 mins distance).
“A Quiet Hotel”
This hotel is quiet, tranquil but very expensive, 15 quid for a traditional (very small) English brekkie, Rooms are very nice, roomy and very comfortable It's about a 10 min taxi ride away from Manchester's City Centre. Be careful some cabs will rip you off.
“good service, dire rooms”
i went to this hotel as i was meant to be picking up a car from a dealers near by. however it didnt work out. the staff were extremly welcoming and even let me use the internet in the back office. the food was good. however when it came to the rooms they were very dated, mould everywhere the suspended ceiling had water stains the batroom was disgusting. overall service was excellent but would probably stay in a travel lodge in future

room and bed were small but clean. Best described as well used. TV old but did work
“Good Hotel for Business use”
The hotel is quite dated with regards to decoration. The restaurant has NO ambience what so ever but the food is great, a little over priced. Fire alarm went off at 7.30am with no apology or explantion. The towel rail didn't work in the room, I requested a non-smoking room but it did smell of cigarettes. Next door to Morrisons and on main Rd but no noise.
