Check in was quick and painless. The concierge and reception staff are efficient and anticipate every need. They are very knowledgeable about the area and are attentive without being annoying . We wanted to go to Kaunas and they were efficient about finding the train schedule and arranging transport. The breakfast was full on buffet with hot food ordered from the kitchen and champagne. The hotel is liberal with amenities and the spa facilities are very good. The actual room was well appointed and the bathroom was lovely. The room was a bit small for two people with luggage, but had everything we needed; safe, iron, tv, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc. The wifi service was excellent; you needed to login once every 24 hours.
An excellent hotel in a quaint location.
We were there for Passover/Easter and with the cathedral across the street heard the magical sound of the evening chants. We had a lovely weekend and would recommend the Kempinski to any discerning traveler.

The only time we had to use taxi's was from the airport to hotel return. Taxi's were cheap and reliable. The pace of life around the old city was really relaxed as there was so much to see. The churches were quite stunning to see. After sightseeing it was nice to have lunch in the numerous restaurants which were dotted around. The restaurant's staff were polite and helpful when it came to choosing food especially their own national dishes.
For people who have never visited here before, everywhere takes the euro and their old currency is not used anymore.
It is excellent value for money at the minute and I would people to visit before to many people get to know about this beautiful city.
If travelling from London, I would advise people to, if they can try to get a direct flight. We flew from London Heathrow to Brussels and then got a connecting flight. Despite going through security at Heathrow we then had to go through security again at Brussels despite been on transit and our bottles of water etc were taken off us.

The hotel is in the old town with easy walking to most sites of interest. There is a courtyard in the middle of the grounds which is nice and peaceful. The rooms are fine and the hotel is clean. They don't have a bar but are happy to serve drinks in the restaurant which is in the courtyard. Breakfast are good with plenty of choice & although we didn't eat in the restaurant I'm sure the food would be good.

The owners took what was a wreck of a hotel 23 years ago and made it into a gem. The new glass fronted dining room facing the street is a great addition with very enjoyable views. The food was excellent. The location is perfect The only downside is parking. If you have a car you have a problem. The hotel has no parking. All parking in the Old Town area is by parking meter and the meter has to be fed. It's not cheap and it's not fun to keep feeding it. If you are flying to Vilnius and renting a car there to be used on a journey, don't rent/pick up the car until you leave town.
I have stayed in Panorama hotel for already few times during the past 10 years. And the quality is still good. It is not a 5-star hotel, but u have there everything u might need. Rooms are clean and comfortable to stay in. The location is perfect- close to the railway station and transport. And if u lucky u can get a room with a view on the Vilnius old town!

Outstanding location in old town. Nice and friendly staff. Rooms felt more 3 star than 4 star though & the breakfasts were really disappointing. Nonetheless would still recommend Conti - as in a great location and is friendly.
