Check in was quick and painless. The concierge and reception staff are efficient and anticipate every need. They are very knowledgeable about the area and are attentive without being annoying . We wanted to go to Kaunas and they were efficient about finding the train schedule and arranging transport. The breakfast was full on buffet with hot food ordered from the kitchen and champagne. The hotel is liberal with amenities and the spa facilities are very good. The actual room was well appointed and the bathroom was lovely. The room was a bit small for two people with luggage, but had everything we needed; safe, iron, tv, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc. The wifi service was excellent; you needed to login once every 24 hours.
An excellent hotel in a quaint location.
We were there for Passover/Easter and with the cathedral across the street heard the magical sound of the evening chants. We had a lovely weekend and would recommend the Kempinski to any discerning traveler.

This hotel is in a perfect location very close to the gates of the old town. Rooms are nicely decorated incorporating artwork and revealed brickwork. The breakfast is amazing with a selection of hot and cold food. All the hotel staff are friendly, helpful and pay attention to detail.
The theme of the hotel matches the bedrooms with a mix of artwork, open brickwork and wrought iron. We had booked a superior room which provided free wifi, toiletries, robes and slippers.I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vilnius.
We couldn't fault this hotel. The location is great, the staff friendly and the breakfast excellent. We loved our room which was very comfortable and had views of both the castle and the three crosses. We spent most of our three days walking and although we had visited Vilnius before we found new restaurants and wine bars to try just a few steps from the hotel.
Apart from difficulty in getting up-to-date room service menu, my stay at this hotel was entirely satisfactory and very reasonably priced. Breakfasts were tasty, ample, and varied, and food brought to my room in evenings was invariably excellent - and without delivery charge. Able to hold onto my room till 7.15pm on day of departure for modest charge.

Take walk, hike to the crosses and Castle, there was so much to see! Time was refreshing, low key and it was a joyful trip for learning about the significant historical and religious faction around the 1000 year history of Lithuania. Only 4 hours from the Baltic sea and thousands of acres of agriculture in between. A country with roots and great people that have a will to persevere and excel given limited financial resources.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room on the 5th floor had a great view. The breakfast was excellent even for vegetarians.
On the other side the bed was a bit too soft for comfort. The heating in the room was less but the staff provided us with an electric heater.

The medieval Old Town of Vilnius, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is dotted with churches and monuments, cobblestone streets, boutiques, and cafés. Beautiful Vilniaus Street winds its way through the area, which includes the Gediminas Tower and most of the renowned Uzupis neighborhood. The Vilnius University architectural ensemble, with its imposing bell tower, makes up a large part of the Old Town.
