"Decent hotel"
Location of hotel worked for me as I was on a business trip and the hotel is close to where my work was. For the price, it was a decent room - clean and spacious, nice though not high quality furnishings - and the room view and sound was of refreshing green tree leaves and cooling cascading waters. So not bad at all! There's a lot of room to improve on the breakfast buffet though ...

"Great choice for a short stay near Khao san road"
Hotel is a modern, simple and clean choice for a basic hotel near Khao san without being in the noise. It is in a neighborhood 3 blocks away with great small local restaurants close by. (In fact, some of the best Thai food I had on the trip) The Skytrain is NOT nearby so you will need a taxi. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Wifi works. Cafe downstairs works limited hours but this is not so important as the location is ggod Staff are nice but not great for advice for travelers. NOTE: Price for a taxi from here to international airport is 500 baht (they do not use their taxi meter)

"Three day business trip to Bangkok"
My wife and I spent three days in Bangkok on business in May 2015. This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel and we loved it. The room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice and had a spa. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options. Staff were helpful and spoke good English. The hotel is situated in a quiet and clean Soi that has plenty of eating options. Close to Khao San Road and getting a taxi is easy. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Old Town - Khao San Hotels Guide

Unsurprisingly, the Old City, or Ko Rattanakosin, is packed with treasures and history. High on any sightseeing list should be the striking Grand Palace, which incorporates Thailand’s most sacred site, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (don’t forget to dress modestly and cover feet). Also recommended are the National Museum and Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), which is 150 feet (46 meters) long and set on 20 acres.
