Hotel was ok - you get what you pay for

Posted 11-Oct-2014
Pros: Clean, good shower.
Cons: breakfast needed improvement
Location: N/A
Our stay was fine. The bed was good. The room was clean. The shower was great - clean, new! The breakfast was poor however. Cold oatmeal with a funny taste, before I realized it was "leftover(?)" from yesterday? Never put away? Not plugged in....IDK. The staff was fine, just not overly friendly. No biggie.

Don't expect much

Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. Room was adequate, but small, dated and worn.

No soap?

Small room with no soap or shampoo. Was not impressed. The room did have a microwave and a fridge though. Would not stay there again.

Okay for what we needed

Posted 20-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
We need a place to crash for the night. This was the best deal and location for us. The bed and room were small. Shower was nice and big. Overall, okay.

Easy to find, good for the price

Posted 29-Jul-2014
Pros: The price and how easy it was to get to from I-35.
Cons: The toilet wasn't working. They tried to fix it while we were out, but it didn't seem to work.
Location: I went here for an event at the mall. The mall is dwindling, but the people that remained there were happy to see us and I hope they see some business
The staff welcomed us late at night. There was an issue with our booking, but they gave us another room right away. The breakfast was very small but a nice gesture.

Bad experience

Posted 28-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
Our experience was so bad we did not stay the second night we had booked. We requested and were confirmed for a room with two beds, but they did not have one when we showed up. We were traveling with our grown daughter and my wife has sleep apnea and equipment to assist her breathing at night. They agreed to put us in their "suite" which was a room with a foldout couch stuffed into it. Our experience with foldouts is so bad we requested a rollaway bed for our daughter, but the one they brought had a mattress with stains and holes through to the foam. The room was shabby and particles on the floor indicated it had not been thoroughly vacuumed. The bathroom had a pocket door because the room was so small, but the door stuck so it was very difficult to close the bathroom door. We were so tired we stayed the first night, but left the next morning. The desk clerk told us he couldn't give us a receipt and there was no manager on site.
