Upon arrival the hotel staff said I had to pay a $25 fee for late check-in even though I tried calling the facility several times and going on the Expedia app saying we were going to be late. Then a $100 deposit which wasn’t a big deal. Then no secured doors to the hotel as all entrances had been busted where you scan the key card. The elevator seemed it was going to fall apart. Exhausted from drive tried to turn on tv but no batteries. Three of us in room with only two towels. Went to hotel desk and said they can only give me another towel between hours of 10 am and 3 pm. The batteries were an extra deposit. She was rude both times. Then had to give up the two towels we had in exchange for 3 towels the next morning. Stayed in this particular hotel for following accommodations: pool, breakfast, gym, microwave, and refrigerator. Everything was broken, closed off, or not available. Then tried to get a refund to stay somewhere else and that was impossible. We ended up staying and on day two they had roaches. By this time we are day two of four on our hotel stay and simply disappointed. We always travel with a cooler to reduce food cost but simply no fridge and had to keep buying ice. Advertised ice machine, vending machine, and laundry facilities which didn’t work either. Not only did they not have a secure hotel but they had bums with their pets hanging out in the stairwell as well as outside. At the end of our stay they didn’t want to refund the $100 deposit fee either.
