“A beautiful spot in Osoyoos. Will definitely go back.”
This hotel exceeded all our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool and lake were beautiful and the restaurant was amazing! We plan to go back next summer.
“excellent hotel in a somewhat strange neighbourhhood!”
Great modern resort hotel
“Super awesome in Oosoyoos”
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was beautiful and definitely value for money.
“Gem In A Sea Of Average Hotels”
The Walnut Beach Resort, while not 5-star, is definitely a hotel I would stay with again. It is less than a year old and is one of the very best places you could stay in this part of the province - especially in a town of only three thousand. You would expect this sort of accommodation in Whistler, and in fact, it reminded us of Whistler's accommodations. A definite 'recommend' for those who are looking for higher grade accommodation.
“beautiful place!”
We only stayed one night at the Walnut Beach Resort but it was well worth it! Such a beautiful pool and hot tub area overlooking the lake (with lake access) We enjoyed some cocktails around the pool and also had dinner at the restaurant. The chef was outside near the pool BBQing our tasty meals. Our room was a good size and had a full kitchen. We had a view of the lake which was wonderful to wake up to. Secure underground parking was a bonus too.
“Great Mini Vacation - Wish it could have been longer.”
We stayed only one night but wished it had been more. We stayed here in Mid September so there were no crowds around the pool so was very relaxing. The weather was 33 degrees. Had a great lunch on the deck - the waiter (John) recommended a great white wine to have with my Walnut Salad (Delicious - both salad and wine); plus he recommended a great drink to have by the pool later (Slushy Bellini). He also recommended a great place to have dinner (Terra Finna - at Hester Creek winery) - we sat outside and ate our fantastic meal with a harvest moon in view. So thanks to John for making the suggestions making our stay great!! We will be back!!
“Wow”
This hotel is brand new and what an amazing hotel. What a great value - absolutely magnificent
“Beautiful place with great views!”
Brand new as of April 1, 2008 so everything was sparkling and beautiful! The decor is lovely, the resort has all the amenities, and the rooms even include a small kitchen (sink, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop and utensils). Our room had a lovely view of the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful.
“Good for a quiet retreat”
This was a good mid-winter escape as the place was almost empty and very quiet. Room was spacious and had a bit of a view on the lake, and there's a good sauna that you can heat up to 90 C.
“Can't wait to go back”
This hotel was awesome! The staff were helpful and pleasant to deal with and the room was great. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to go back again for a longer stay. You can either eat at the hotel restaurant (which was very good) or they provide large BBQ's by the pool for guests to use so you can cook your own meals which is great if you have a family. Overall, this hotel is exactly as they show it and so much more. I would definitely recommend to anyone - especially families, they were great with the kids.
