Beautiful views form lakeview suite.

Posted 2-Dec-2014
Location: I highly recommend Zia's Stonehouse Restaurant for dinner. Delicious.
We stayed here for a weekend at the end of November. Get a lakeview suite! Gorgeous views! I loved looking at the lake while having my coffee in the morning.

great hotel!

Great resort! A little dated, but once you get in the room, everything is renovated and modern. Service and staff was friendly! The only negatives was the lack of parking. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple or a family!

Too Pricey & Didn't Get The Free Upgrade Promised

Posted 3-Nov-2014
The rooms (more like suites) are nice, but I feel the place is a bit expensive. I was promised a free room upgrade when I booked, but I did not receive it, and the staff didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Disappointing experience.

Nice hotel, staff leave something to be desired

Posted 28-Oct-2014
The hotel is pretty, bed comfortable, room clean. View of lake is lovely. Staff did not greet me right away, kept me waiting longer than needed at check in (only one couple in front of me), they didn't engage at all, I had to ask where my room was and was just told 2nd floor - they didn't explain the labyrinth of going upstairs, around corners, outside and keep going. When I checked out, no one was at the desk. Staff should be a lot more friendly, helpful and engaging at a fancy place like this. I train customer service for a living - they need to bring me in to train their staff

Best in Town

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Location, quiet, beach.
Cons: Reallly marginal breakfast/snack food. However the on-site restaurant for dinner is the best for miles....
Very nice newer hotel -= many units are really other peoples condos.

Great facility on the water

Quiet setting on the lake was very nice with an ability to take a nice stroll along the beachfront walkway. Ate at the restaurant "Local" on the property - food was excellent.

First choice in Summerland

Posted 18-Oct-2014
Pros: Lakeview
Everything was perfect. Housekeeping did a great job. Little things like 2 packages of coffee to make about 8 cups. We didn't always use it but it was there. The room was always made up right away and we never saw anyone come or go. The building, room, pool and grounds were immaculate. Lakeview and sunny days, we could not have asked for more.

Nice hotel but may not be worth the price.

Posted 17-Oct-2014 on Hotels.com
The room was nice. It had a vague smell I think from a previous guest cooking a meal? Good view. We could hear the guests above us walking around at night and in the morning but we weren't too bothered by it. The little cafe in the hotel didn't have a great selection. We just wanted some fruit or a healthy thing to go but they only had pastries and brownies. Restaurant in the same vicinity was very pricey and not worth the cost. Best to go to a winery or Penticton for meals.
