We have been here before and was really impressed.Posted 19-Sep-2014
Pros: It is clean and comfortable. We both sleep well here.
Cons: A better breakfast menu.
Location: You are in the heart of wine country so, wine tastings and tours are fun. We like to walk, hike and there are some great walks and hikes.
Hotel is right on the water and we had a view of the lake which we both really enjoy. The room is very comfortable. There is a great restaurant next door.

Lovely hotel on quiet Summerland waterfrontPosted 7-Sep-2014
The room was a tiny suite - very well equipped with fridge, stove, microwave and good selection of dishes. This isn't a posh place at all, but it is comfortable and homey. Our main criticism of the small suite was that besides a small closet, there was no chest of drawers or shelving on which to put our clothes. We were traveling with golf clothes, tennis clothes, go out to wineries clothes…and we ended up living out of our suitcases for three days. The staff was helpful, warm and friendly. I had a pedicure at the spa and it was excellent. Overall, this was a very good location despite being away from the hustle and bustle of Kelowna and Penticton

Nice Hotel with great lake viewsPosted 23-Aug-2014
Cons: A shuttle service into town would be a great additional service, and more 'regular' fare on the menu would be nice.
We stayed two nights here, in a studio lakeview suite. It was comfortable and immaculately clean, but too pricey. The hotel grounds are lovely , with a walking path down to a great Beach ( George Beggs Beach). The view of Lake Okanagan is wonderful, and the staff onsite are very helpful. The parking underground is a nice extra too. The Restaurant and Pub on site, were probably the low point of our stay. Very expensive , and the food was just 'okay'. It is also quite secluded. You have to drive to go anywhere else, as there are no other restaurants or businesses close by for shopping, or entertainment.

Excellent FacilityPosted 2-Aug-2014
Pros: Staff, room and restaurant.
This is a picturesque resort with a lovely spa and restaurant on site. Though the rate, particularly during peek season, is expensive the facilities, room and staff are worth the price. Plan at least one dinner at the restaurant on the grounds their menu, feature local ingredients did not disappoint. Great location, great room, great food, little pricey.

Dog friendly and relaxing!Posted 5-Jul-2014
We really enjoyed our relaxing stay and so did our dog! Clean, comfortable and great location on the waterfront. Love that they are dog friendly and had a nice seawall to walk on with a dog beach nearby! The restaurant, Local, next door was so delicious! Had the most delicious salmon with chimichurri sauce! They also allow you to tie your dog on the outside railing of the balcony and you are still beside your dog while eating.

Perfect pet friendly pit stop!Posted 29-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
I think our dog enjoyed our stay at this fantastic hotel as much if not more than we did! Dog dishes and treats were provided in the room. Lots of outdoor areas to walk and explore, with a nice 5 minute walk through the adjacent yaught club and along the shore to a fenced-in off-leash dog beach. Dogs aren't permitted in some areas, as expected, like the pool area, and can't be left in the room alone, so although we weren't able to try the on-site restaurant, we could have used one of the outdoor communal bbq's as for a private picnic, but we opted to bring food to prepare in our well appointed kitchen and enjoy a private meal and glass of local wine on our balcony. We had a 3rd floor room. Dogs aren't allowed in the elevators, so we had to use the stairs, which was not a problem for us, but if stairs are an issue for you, and you are with your pet, best to request a room on a lower floor, if available. Front desk staff was very helpful and accomodating. Can't say enough about the service. We can't wait to come back again

The best of the Okanagan!Posted 28-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
The only place to stay when you visit. Close to everything yet feels secluded and quiet. Down to the small touches - local coffee and a coffee press - enjoying a cup on the balcony first thing in the morning was amazing. Worth the $$!
