Pros: price, convenient location
Cons: attention to detail
Location: close to hospital, mall
Bathroom floor not clean; shower curtain not clean. Some kind of animal making noise in the wall nearest the headboard of the bed!

Centrally LocatedPosted 13-Nov-2013
Pros: Kitchen, balcony, and privacy as sliding doors was not on parking side. I believe all windows should have lace curtains for privacy.
Cons: Provide lace curtains for privacy so curtains are not close.
Location: Shopping, walking in central location.
Centrally located...not far from all amenities. Price was right.

Pros: The staff was helpful and apologized for the room mix up.
Cons: Update the rooms.
Location: Easy to find off the main drag. Plenty of restraunts and malls nere by.
First I booked a room with two beds, checked in room to find only one bed. My sister and I carried our luggage back down the stairs put them in the car and walked back to the office to get a room with two beds. Finally got a room with two beds ,go to have a shower and the door was so big for the door way we could not even close the door to the bathroom. The television had mabe 10 channels and every show that we watched everyone had blue hands. I had to be at the airport by 4:30 am and tried to check out but the door to the main office was locked. Tried to use the speaker thing and that was not working, so my sister drove me to the airport dropped me off drove all the way back to the recreation inn and waited there until 7:00 and check out for me,then she was able to drive her 2 1/2 hour drive home.

Beautiful roomPosted 3-Nov-2013
Pros: The room was large for a good price, large bathtub, stocked kitchenette.
Cons: The cleanliness of the room. On the surface, basic cleaning was really good. However, many corners were neglected and had spiderwebs.
Location: The location is near to the Parkinson Rec Centre, and is near a Tim Hortons, O-Zeki's, and a strip mall with a variety of stores.
The thing that stands out to me most was the impression I got when I stepped into the room. I have stayed at another hotel or two before, and had paid more. But for less, the room I got was really big! A suite pretty much, the kitchenette was stocked with dishes, 2 queen sized beds, one in the main area and a full separate bedroom with one! And the bathtub was great. For someone of my height, it's a rare treat to get a bath where I can fully stretch out.

Great location..everything is close by.Posted 18-Oct-2013
Pros: Definitely the front desk staff! As well, I liked the secure smoking area, pet friendly, the location and price.
Cons: My bed wasn't very comfortable:( The sheets and carpets could use an upgrade. Also, a bit more of channel selections on the TV.
Location: Location is great! Close to alot of restaurants, gas station next door, the mall is a few blocks down and the downtown is about a 7 min drive.
The best part of my experience was the staff. Very friendly and accomodating. I did not feel as though I was "putting them out". I also like where the smoking area is because I felt safe. As a smoker, I do not mind going outside to smoke (I actully prefer it). But I feel unsafe at other hotels where you have to go down the street to smoke because they do not allow a person to smoke on the property. I was also expecting a "room", (even though I'd booked a suite). When I walked in, I was surprised to see a 1 bedroom apartment! A fully functioning kitchen with plates and utensils as well as a bedroom! I was quite impressed:) When I come to Kelowna again, I will book here! And I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family:)

Our Kelowna TripPosted 12-Oct-2013
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and it was a very nice quiet place to stay.
Cons: The internet was slow and hard to connect to and when I called the front desk to tell them, they immediately called their int. serv. company to fix it
Location: Everything is close - Orchard Park Mall is within walking distance, so is the central park marina, the public beach and downtown.
My daughter and I are on a mother-daughter trip to Chilliwack. We booked a room at the Recreation Inn with 3 queen beds. When we got there, the room we were given was not two queen beds, but a double bed, a pull out couch and surprise! A small kitchen! The change worked out perfectly! Travelling and eating restaurant food is not always the best and this way we were able to cook our own food and save money at the same time with the room rate and the food.

Nice staff, lovely facility just a short distance off the main stretch, the bed was so comfy~ All in all, a very wonderful (and relatively cheap!) place to stay!

Excellent place for a low budgetPosted 5-Oct-2013
Pros: The size of the suites, the serenity of the location, the cleanliness of the suites.
Cons: Some of the front staff lie a lot.
One cannot complain about the services offered at this hotel considering it is a low budget hotel The suites are very spacious. You can cook by yourself.
