Good, to bad morning. Then to better morning/stayPosted 12-Feb-2014
Pros: The staff's quick reaction to our dilemma and the size of the second unit.
Location: We only stayed two nights. The first night we went out on the town and had fun at "The Rose". The second day was spent at Silverstar Ski facilities.
The room was everything we needed/reserved. Accommodated 4 adults and was nice. The morning after the 1st night was a surprise... the upstairs unit had a pipe burst, or someone had overflowed a tub for our unit was being flooded from the ceiling. We immediately were provided with another unit, a better unit. One that had a separate bedroom and a dining facility. The staff were very friendly and the 2nd unit was huge. I do recommend this location for anyone staying in Kelowna!

Basic cheap motel close-ish to downtownPosted 8-Jan-2014
Stayed here because it was the best deal available. Bus stations to downtown are very close but the schedules are not great. Was surprised to find a full kitchen in the room. Staff were not overly helpful and a bit impolite, one of them didn't even look up from her paperwork to talk to us, greeted my wife and I with "you girls checking out?" And didn't realise until looking up that I'm indeed a male. Also we found dirty laundry in a draw in our room. With all that said, it was good value for money and I don't have any real complaints.

Pros: price, convenient location
Cons: attention to detail
Location: close to hospital, mall
Bathroom floor not clean; shower curtain not clean. Some kind of animal making noise in the wall nearest the headboard of the bed!

Centrally LocatedPosted 13-Nov-2013
Pros: Kitchen, balcony, and privacy as sliding doors was not on parking side. I believe all windows should have lace curtains for privacy.
Cons: Provide lace curtains for privacy so curtains are not close.
Location: Shopping, walking in central location.
Centrally located...not far from all amenities. Price was right.

Pros: The staff was helpful and apologized for the room mix up.
Cons: Update the rooms.
Location: Easy to find off the main drag. Plenty of restraunts and malls nere by.
First I booked a room with two beds, checked in room to find only one bed. My sister and I carried our luggage back down the stairs put them in the car and walked back to the office to get a room with two beds. Finally got a room with two beds ,go to have a shower and the door was so big for the door way we could not even close the door to the bathroom. The television had mabe 10 channels and every show that we watched everyone had blue hands. I had to be at the airport by 4:30 am and tried to check out but the door to the main office was locked. Tried to use the speaker thing and that was not working, so my sister drove me to the airport dropped me off drove all the way back to the recreation inn and waited there until 7:00 and check out for me,then she was able to drive her 2 1/2 hour drive home.

It was ok. There was confussion having a room that was someone elses, but finally in the right room. As for ice, it was a little bowl, and the ice not being cold enough. As well not much for information for price to the rooms with having an extra person for the small charge of $10.00, after two persons. Thanks

Beautiful roomPosted 3-Nov-2013
Pros: The room was large for a good price, large bathtub, stocked kitchenette.
Cons: The cleanliness of the room. On the surface, basic cleaning was really good. However, many corners were neglected and had spiderwebs.
Location: The location is near to the Parkinson Rec Centre, and is near a Tim Hortons, O-Zeki's, and a strip mall with a variety of stores.
The thing that stands out to me most was the impression I got when I stepped into the room. I have stayed at another hotel or two before, and had paid more. But for less, the room I got was really big! A suite pretty much, the kitchenette was stocked with dishes, 2 queen sized beds, one in the main area and a full separate bedroom with one! And the bathtub was great. For someone of my height, it's a rare treat to get a bath where I can fully stretch out.
