“Pleasant Surprise”

I had to book a room in Kelowna on fairly short notice. I liked the price but was wary of the past reviews for the Econolodge. I booked it anyway. I was quite suprised and happy with the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was more than I expected, it was clean and cheery and comfortable. I booked an 'efficiency queen' and got a room with a small kitchen with full fridge and stove, microwave, coffeemaker, dishes & cutlery, a cute little dinette for two and pretty much everything you need. It wasn't a huge room but definitely big enough for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean (believe me, I checked!) I would stay here again anytime and recommend it to others.

“would go back”

When I first saw the exterior of the hotel..I thought oh oh..as it is older and could use a paint job..however the staff were friendly..the room was spotless, though the bed linens smelt strongly of bleach..breakfast was muffins, coffee and juice, which we took to our room...pool and spa area were clean and tidy.
