“Comfortable, affordable suite”

Our recent stay at the Coast Village Inn was a pleasure. We stayed in the Sunflower Suite, which included a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen/living area. The suite was clean and comfortable and we prepared and enjoyed several meals there. We were pleased with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The inn is conveniently located in Wells, about halfway between Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We would recommend the Coast Village Inn to any travelers to southern Maine.

“Very nice stay”

Was very pleased with the accommodations as well as the offer to upgrade to a "heated with thermostat" room. It was particularly chilly that weekend and since this is a summer location, we appreciated the ability to have regulated heat at no additional charge. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again or recommend to anyone.

“Not impressed”

It was clean and the water pressure was really good. It was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. It is very dated. I had trouble finding an outlet to plug my hair dryer into and the only one I found was not near a mirror. The mattress was way too soft. Next time I'll pay more in order to get more.

I chose this based on reviews on another site, and was greatly disappointed. I asked for a quiet dark room and although this was acknowledged when we checked in we were given a room on the main busy road with an outside light that shone in all night. The bed sagged and the shower curtain was so cheap that it kept falling off while in the shower. I thought that I was getting a great off season rate, but saw many places in the area that were less and appeared to be nicer, at least from the outside. It was in a good location, however, with lots to do right down the road.
