“Lovely Oqunquit Hotel”
Tthis hotel is really lovely. Check-in was very pleasant. Our room was quite spacious to accomodate four people and very clean. Plus the room, which was nicely carpetted, did not have that scent of carpet spray which hotels oftern use to cover up stale odors. With my daughter and I having asthma, we are very sensitive to fragances so were very pleased that our room did not have that carpet spray scent. The grounds of the hotel are very well maintained, with a terrific outdoor pool and seating area. Tthe indoor pool is adjacent to the outdoor pool and this area is also very nice with the hotel restaurant overlooking the pool areas. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, it seemed very popular and was quite busy the morning we checked out. We will definitely stay at the Gorges Grant Hotel in the future.
“convenient, clean hotel”
Everything was lovely except I couldn't regulate the temperature very well. The noise of the motor of the air control going on and off all night was disturbing. Otherwise, all was well.
“great getaway”
very close to the trolley stop for trips into town, the beach or perkins cove. A nice quiet place at the end of the day.
“A definite "yes" hotel”
We got there at 9:30 a.m. and was able to check in. Everyone very pleasant, and facilities were clean as well, the pool etc. Customers visiting there as well were sociable and well-mannered.
“Great place to stay!”
The Gorges Grant is exceptionally clean and service is excellent. It is not exactly "walking distance" from the beach but the trolley service stops right in front and works well. Fantastic desk service, very professional and helpful! Good location and very quiet, even at top tourist time.
“Best of the Best”
Always a pleasure to stay at Gorges Grant Hotel. Rooms are beautiful and very large. The staff has always been exceptional in making sure that our stay was relaxing, restful and stress free. The grounds are well maintained. Their restaurant, Raspberry's, has great wait staff and go beyond their duties to make sure that our meal was perfect. Can't wait to return next year.
“Great experience”
Had a great time with my wife. You should go too.
“Surprise”
Agreed that we didn't get to experience some aspects of the hotel. But my experience with the hotel and the staff was very satisfying. The staff at the front desk is very courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. Its funny how the attitude of the staff influences once perception of the hotel.
“Looking forward to going back.”
The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The location was perfect. Enjoyed two great restaurants while there, Roberto's where the food and service were great. The second restaurant was Jonathans. Great atmosphere, food and service. We attended the Ogunquit playhouse and thoroughly enjoy Spamalot with Charles Shaunessy. Tookl an easy ride to Kennebunkport to take in the sites. The hotel rooms were roomy, nicely appointed, and clean. Would stay there again. Their breakfast restaurant was super too. Priced just below others in the area. The food was good..provided so many choices.
“Should be called "Gorgeous Grant"”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Gorges Grant. It looks nice enough from the outside, but inside the rooms were cozier, and the furniture was all sturdy and comfortable, even for plus size men like me.
