“My week at the Sunset Jamaica Grande”
As we were driving in from the airport I was a little worried. I saw some of the hotels that we had looked at and I was very glad that we had not decided to stay there. When we entered the hotel lobby I was very suprised. The hotel is beautiful. It was so nice just to leave the hotel room with our key to the safe and the key to the door. We didn't take anything else. Everything was provided. The staff were very friendly and got you whatever was needed. I would definately stay here again. In fact we are already planning the visit.
“Waiting to go back”
I highly recommend Sunset Jamaica Grande All Inclusive resort. Overall we were satisfied with the resort, the staff, the activities (except both paddle boats were broken) and of course the all inclusive food and drinks. Every night there was intertainment from piano bars to live concerts. Something that needs to be mentioned is if your coming in for a short stay like we did you will end up with the restaurant reservations already filled. The resort takes reservations two days in advance and you can not reserve a table before you get to the resort. We ended up going to all of the buffets which was good but we wanted to enjoy the food at the restaurants. My recommendation is to add more restaurants to the resort.
“very enjoyable and relaxing vacation”
Check in was a breeze, the staff was always friendly. We stayed in North Tower. I requested South Tower at check in. I read that it was the nicer of the two. Our oceanview room overlooked the roof of the nightclub. The mattress was very comfortable. The whole resort, beach and pool areas were very clean. The food was always fresh. The fresh fruit was fantastic. I have already recommended to a friend for her honeymoon. Dunns River falls was alot of fun.
“Love Jamaica Mon”
We just got back from Jamaica Sunset Grande and I am dying to return! We had the time of our lives! Do be sure to ask for the South Tower though, we started out on the other side and the noise goes on all night long! The hotel was very helpful though and moved us to a room on the other side with no problem. Our service was spectacular, we have travelled to several different countries and the locals in Jamaica were the most helpful and friendly.
“Even better...The 2nd time around!”
Our 2nd visit to this property even better than the first. Problems with checkin/room but turned out ok. One thing we did notice was that the rooms really need maintenance work as we saw 3 and all of them in much need of fixing. The food at this resort is good, service acceptable. Most employees go out of there way to see that you are having a good time. It was great because we were able to see friends from last years visit. Good value all the way around.
“Definately going back!”
We had a blast, the beach was beautiful, there was alot to do, entertainment nightly, the food was fantastic. We didn't want to come home. Definately going back for the reggae festival next year!
“Best Birthday Ever”
After a 14 hours of flying and lay overs we finally made it to the hotel. The staff was super friendly. Everything was clean and organized on the resort. We were there for six nights and I hated leaving. I really enjoyed waking up and working out at the beautiful gym and then grabbing a bite to eat at the perfect breakfast buffet and the laying by the beautiful pools for the rest of the day. The only hung I would change is the mattress. It was a little on the hard side but I would still come back.
“You will feel at home!!!”
Check in line may be a little long if you go on a friday but other than that, Sunset Jamaica Grande is GREAT!!!
“The staff was great! Really pleasant people all around.”
The hotel is huge - airy, spacious, beautiful. There is enough space to be comfortable in a group of people or alone to just read or just watch. Families should feel really comfortable. There is so much space that children are having a ball, but not in the way at all! You can walk to shops with ease and the all inclusive was really hassle-free. The food was good, a nice variety (vegetarians are well taken care of), and hours of operation were great. You are never hungry. Always a restaurant open. And though tipping isn't expected or required, it's just courteous to put a few dollars in the hands of people who take care of you!
“Can't wait to go back”
The hotel (room,bathroom,elevators.restorants,bars)is wonderful place.
