Set amid tropical landscaping on the north-central coast of Jamaica, this all-inclusive, adults-only couples resort is 3 km (2 mi) east of Ocho Rios. In addition to direct beach access, a pool with swim-up bar, spa tub, and health spa are among the recreational amenities offered on site. Facilities include banquet facilities and complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas.
This green and sustainable hotel's tropical-style and full-service The Oasis Spa provides revitalizing and pampering treatments, from body wraps and scrubs to couples massages and beauty services. Additional activities on site include two outdoor tennis courts as well as a 24-hour fitness center, complete with an indoor gym and mineral pool. Personal trainers are available to assist in developing a fitness plan and guests can take classes in aerobics, yoga, aquacize, Pilates, and meditation.
The hotel provides roundtrip airport shuttles (on request) and tours to Dunn's River Falls, Ocho Rios, and Margaritaville. Complimentary spa treatments are offered celebrating honeymoon couples. Sunset Beach is au naturel from morning until late afternoon. In late afternoon, the beach opens to all guests for sunset gazing.

Couples Sans Souci offers 150 guest suites spanning three floors, most of which have a balcony (some enclosed) overlooking the beach or ocean. Rooms are decorated in blues and whites. Amenities include cable/satellite TV, phones with voice mail, CD players, minibars, coffeemakers, and in-room safes.

Beach Grill - Hamburgers and other grilled specialties in a casual beachfront setting are served from early to late afternoon, and all night until early morning.

Couples Sans Souci offers a wide variety of water and land sports with complimentary lessons, including sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, aqua cycling, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, volleyball, basketball, tennis, Bocce ball, aerobics, yoga, aquacizing, and meditation
Unlimited golfing is available at Sandals Golf and Country Club. Green fees and transfers are complimentary. Caddies are mandatory (surcharge). Clubs, shoes, and carts (optional) are available for rent.

Spa
The hotel's clifftop spa offers a unique experience. Guests can indulge in treatments in the privacy of a cabana at the edge of the cliff with the sounds of the ocean below. The extensive menu includes massages, body wraps and scrubs, reflexology, and beauty treatments.

“Can't wait to go back”
Couples San Sauci was like a dream come true. The resort was beautiful, relaxing and therapeutic. We were able to escape from our hetic lives and relax. The Staff was very professional. They expressed extreme kindness to us. Everything was how can I help you Sir or Madam. The food was delcious and exquisite looking. Every dish was gourmet and could have been in a gourmet magazine. We will go back March. All of the experiences were wonderful. I highly recommend the Ocean Massage. The massage takes place in a hut that overlooks the ocean while the waves are rippling in your ears.
“Absolutely amazing experience”
The entire experience completely exceeded our expectations. Drive to hotel: 2 hrs but fascinating; Room: G block, amazing views, could use some updating but very clean; Food: Consistently top notch, no tepid buffets, dessert heaven; Drinks: Very heavy handed pouring, not for lightweights; Grounds: Paradise found in the midst of a tropical garden; Staff: Treat others as you would like to be treated and you will never have a problem, very kind/courteous; Beach: Small but lovely; Activities: All water sports included, helpful staff, newer equipment; Entertainment: Great music every night but don't expect hard party atmosphere; Perfect resort to relax and unwind without ever feeling bored. We strongly recommend it.
“Awesome experience”
My husband and I loved every minute of our stay at Couples Sans Souci. The food was excellent with many options within each of the restaurants. The activities offered throughout the day were always fun and exciting. All of the staff was so friendly and accomidating. We truly understood the meaning of "yeah man, no problem." We can't wait to go back. What an awesome experience!
“Excellent resort”
The staff and surrounding was super but the rooms need some renovation especially the bathrooms. Wonderful vacation with everything included and that was true. Wine was included with food but not provided in rooms which I would have preferred instead of lickours
“Great Experience at Couples SS”
My wife and I traveled to Couples SS for our honeymoon and we were very, very impressed. Although it's about a 1.5-2 hour drive from MBJ, it's location was wonderful, very secluded, private. We liked how the resort was arranged, with many smaller buildings vs one large hotel. There are quiet a few stairs, but we had stayed in A block with a beach front suite that was just steps from about everything but the main lobby and Casanova restaurant. Along with the beach, there were plenty of other activities to keep your self as busy, or just relax and go with the flow. We liked that a lot of the water sports like sailing, kayaking, and paddle boating could be done on our own time. Can't wait to go back!
“Our annual anniversary trip at Couples”
This is our 8th Couples experience,but our first at SanSouci. As always the service,the food,the room and the overall experience were excellent.Our only Complaint (if you could call it that) is the resort is very large and spread out.Be prepared to do alot of walking from one place to another. There are many stairs to climb as well,so if you have trouble walking or climbing, this is not the resort for you.
“The Most Incredible Resort Ever”
Where do you start when EVERYTHING was incredible. The Hotel/The Service/The Staff/The Grounds/The Food(Oh yes 5 Star)/The Beach/The Water Sports/The Drinks/Did I Say The 5 Star Food/The Penthouse Suite/The Flowers/The Private Dinner(so Romantic)......This is our new vacation home without a doubt. We have been to resorts all over the world but Couples San Souci is the WINNER by a long shot. Thank you Expedia for showing this resort, that is why we use your service. “Amazing”
All staff members went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We stayed in the Penthouse suite and it was worth every penny. Our view was absolutely beautiful and it was more private than the beachfront suites. Room service is included in the stay and we ordered breakfast every morning to sit out on our balcony overlooking the ocean. Everything is very laid back and relaxing, but there are things to do at night, such as live entertainment provided by the resort. Tuesday night is beach party night, and we were treated to music performed on steel drums. We did the Dunns River Falls excursion that is included in the package and it was so cool. You won't regret signing up, although it's a little difficult to climb if you're not in great shape. There are easier routes for those people. Overall, great service. The people are nice and the food is delicious. We will definitely be back.
“R&R at a beautiful resort outside of Ocho Rios”
Here it is a couple of weeks after having returned from Jamaica and I'm still looking at our photos remembering the wonderful week we had at Couples Sans Souci. While it's true that the stairs around the resort could be a no-go for someone with mobility issues, that's also what makes it so private and serene. You never feel like you're at a big resort; rather, you feel like you might be at a private villa in the jungle. One of our favorite things was to watch the sky dip behind the hill on the other side of the resort while the egrets came home to roost in the tree outside of our room. I was skeptical about the quality of the food before arriving because (1) we live in a notorious foodie town and (2) I'd gotten ill at our one and only other all-inclusive vacation, but I was very pleased with the quality and choice of foods at CSS. The husband and I are - for the most part - not repeat vacationers, but I'm already trying to figure out a way to get back to Jamaica and stay at the other Couples properties in Negril.
